KSET 2026 - Result, Answer Key, Syllabus, Previous Papers

KSET — the Karnataka State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor — is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). It is the eligibility test for appointment as Assistant Professor in universities, first-grade degree colleges and other higher-education institutions in Karnataka. Eligibility tests of this kind qualify a candidate to be considered for teaching posts — they establish that you meet the standard required to apply, and are separate from the recruitment process that actually fills vacancies. KSET 2026 was held in 37 subjects on 11 October 2026; KEA published the revised (final) answer keys on 23 October and the provisional results on 24 October 2026, with objections to the provisional result accepted until 10:30 a.m. on 26 October 2026.

What is not on this page yet

Vacancy counts, application dates, fees, age limits and the exam pattern for KSET are not published here yet. We add those only once they have been read out of the official notification for the cycle in question, because a figure carried over from a previous year is worse than no figure at all. Until then, this page carries the material we can stand behind: the official documents below.
