CG TET Exam Pattern & Syllabus
CG TET is an offline (OMR) test. Each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks, four options per question with one correct answer, one mark each and no negative marking. The duration is two and a half hours. Questions are set in both Hindi and English; Language I is Hindi and Language II is English.

Standard and scope
Child Development and Pedagogy tests the educational psychology of teaching and learning for the relevant age group, the needs of diverse learners, and the teacher's role as a facilitator. The content sections test concepts and their pedagogy at the standard of the classes concerned. Language I (Hindi) tests proficiency in the medium of instruction; Language II (English) tests the elements of language, comprehension and communication.
