AP TET Exam Pattern & Syllabus
AP TET is a computer-based test. Each paper carries 150 marks for 150 questions, all multiple choice with one mark each and no negative marking. The duration is two and a half hours.

Standard and scope
Child Development and Pedagogy tests the educational psychology of teaching and learning for the relevant age group, the needs of diverse learners, and the attributes of a good facilitator of learning. The content sections — Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and the Paper II subject areas — test concepts and their pedagogy. The standard of the subject content is broadly that of the classes concerned, though the difficulty may extend a stage higher.
Language I tests proficiency in the chosen medium of instruction; Language II tests the elements of language, communication and comprehension in English. Both are fixed at the application stage.
