Assam TET Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Each Special Assam TET 2026 paper has 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks, one mark per question, with no negative marking. The duration is 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes) per paper; visually impaired candidates get an additional 20 minutes per hour.

Where a syllabus and a previous year paper disagree, the paper tells you what is actually asked and the syllabus tells you what may be asked — prepare for the second, revise from the first.
