Function Of UPPSC
The main aim of the UPPSC is to regulate the civil services exam across the state. The commission is responsible for recruiting candidates in various services. Application Form
To take part in the recruitment process, candidates need to fill the application form available in online mode at the official websites, uppsc.up.nic.in. Students must make sure that only those application form is accepted who submits it prior to the last date. Candidates who will complete the application form and submits it on time are only eligible to get the admit card.
Admit Card
Only those candidates are eligible to get the admit card whose application form gets accepted. The admit card is available in online mode at the official website of the UPPSC, uppsc.up.nic.in. Hall ticket work as a key to enter the exam hall. So, make sure that aspirants carry it on the exam day. Without the admit card and id proof, candidates cannot enter the exam centre.
Result
The result is announced after the completion of the UPPSC examination. For each phase involved in the recruitment process, the result is declared separately. Candidates whose names are there in the merit list are either eligible for the next round or eligible for the final appointment. The UPPSC result is available in the form of merit list which consists of name and roll number of the candidates eligible who have qualified the exam.

Origin of UPPSC
The commission is regulated by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulation, 1976. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission came into existence from 1 April 1937 with its headquarters in Allahabad. The formation of the Public Service Commissions at the provincial level was done under the Government of India Act, 1935, for the first time. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) working is also regulated by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulation, 1976.
