IBPS RRB Officer Cut Off

Last verified 31 Jul 2026

IBPS RRB Officer cut-off marks are not published by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The notification states only that cut-offs will be decided depending on the number of vacancies and candidates.

Why you will not find a bank cut off table anywhere

Neither IBPS nor SBI publishes cut-off marks. The notification says only that cut-offs "will be decided" depending on the number of vacancies and the number of candidates. Scores are released to each candidate individually through a roll-number login, never as a category-wise table, and IBPS explicitly withholds Main Examination scores until the whole interview process is over.

Any site showing you a precise bank cut off is publishing an estimate reconstructed from candidate reports. That can be useful as a rough target, but it is not an official figure, and we will not present it as one.

What to aim at instead

  • Clear every section โ€” IBPS requires a minimum in each test, so a strong overall score with one weak section still fails.
  • Work to the vacancy ratio: shortlists run at roughly ten times the vacancies in each category, so your position relative to other candidates matters more than an absolute mark.
  • Track your state and category. Merit is drawn state-wise and category-wise, so the bar differs sharply between states in the same cycle.

Sectional minimums still apply

For Scale I, only the Main Examination and Interview count. For Scale II and III the Single Online Examination and Interview count. Merit is drawn separately for each Regional Rural Bank. Alongside that, candidates must clear a minimum in each individual test, which the conducting body sets per cycle and does not announce in advance.
