HTET 2018

HTET is to determine teaching eligibility for classes I-VIII and PGT Lecturer. There are different levels (papers) specific for teaching aspirants of classes I-V, VI-VIII, PGT Lecturer respectively. They are as follows:

  • PRT – Primary Teacher – HTET Level 1 – For Class I-V
  • TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher – HTET Level 2 – For Class VI-VIII
  • PGT – Post Graduate Teacher – HTET Level 3 – For Lecturer

HTET Answer Key 2018

After the successful conduction of the examination unofficial answer key will be released. BSEH will release the HTET Answer Key 2018 at the official website. Answer Key helps the candidates in predicting their marks. Only official answer key will be taken into the consideration for calculating the result.

HTET Admit Card 2018

The admit of the examination issued for all the registered candidates. The candidates can download it by submitting the required login details. The roll number is also be granted via the admit card. The Board has not issued admit card by post. Without it, the candidates will not be allowed to take the examination.

  • The admit card contains the Exam Center Address, Roll Number, Details about Candidates, Timing of the Exam, Scanned Photograph, etc.

After downloading the admit card, the candidates should thoroughly check it. If a candidate finds any error then they must inform Special Examination Branch of the Board.

Also, if the admit card is not issued for the candidates by its scheduled date then they need to contact Special Examination Branch. The candidates will have to tell their query and produce the copy of Computer Generated Application Form, payment receipt, and an attested copy of qualifying Secondary class (ClassX). Along with these documents, the candidates will also have to produce two photographs. It must be the same as uploaded in the application form.

HTET Application Form Correction

The Application form correction window has been opened, the candidates who have made the mistakes in application form can edit their forms now. They should edit their forms before the deadline. For editing the application form the candidates have to enter the application number and password.

Candidates can only use online mode for filling the application form. Candidates should fill the valid details in the application form. After filling the application form candidates should recheck the mentioned details in the application form. Haryana TET 2018 Subjects for TGT and PGT

In PRT, the candidates do not have the choice to opt for any subject. However, the candidates opting for Level 2 and 3 paper will have the option to choose Subject Paper. The subject papers for both the level are as below:

TGT-Level 2 Subject Options: Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Urdu, Physical Education, Home Science, Art, and Music.

PGT-Level 3 Subjects Options: English, Hindi, Geography, Political Science, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Punjabi, Urdu, History, Sanskrit, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Commerce, Economics, Music, Fine Arts, Computer Science, Physical Education.

Haryana TET Syllabus

Child Development and Pedagogy – This section focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning. While preparing for it, the candidates have to keep in mind that the focus will be learning of the targeted age group. It is very important to gain a proper understanding of interactive and diverse learning. The attributes and qualities of a good facilitator are also important to learn.

  • The target audience for Level 1 will be 6 to 11 years old
  • For Level 2 the target audience will be 11 to 16 years old
  • The target audience for PGT Level is 14 to 17 years old

Language Test – The aim of the language test will be to access the proficiencies related to the medium of instructions.

General Studies – The main focus of GS will be elements of Mental and Reasoning Ability and to check the knowledge of candidates about Haryana.

Mathematics / Environmental Studies / Subject Opted For – The basic concepts, problem-solving abilities, and pedagogical understanding of the respective subject will be the focus.

HTET Result 2018

The result of HTET 2018 will be published online at The candidates can check it by entering their Roll Number or Name. The result will contain the score of the candidates in the examination. The Board will preserve the OMR sheet of the candidates for a period of one month only, from the date of result announcement. The BSEH will upload the statement of marks on the official website.

HTET 2018 Cutoff

BSEH will announce the cutoff for HTET 2018. It will be the same for the exam of all the three Levels. The candidates must get the minimum marks in the examination, else the Board will not consider them for awarding eligibility.

Issuance of HTET Certificates

The Board of School Education, Haryana, will issue the certificate of eligibility. The issuance of the certificate will begin a few months after the announcement of the result. Only the qualified candidates will get it. The conducting body will award separate certificates for candidates qualifying in more than one level.

The validity of HTET Certificate – The certificate will remain valid for a period of 5 years, from the date of issuance.
