HTET Answer Key 2026: HTET 2025 Key, ₹100 Objection, Final Key

There is no HTET 2026 answer key yet, because BSEH has not announced the HTET-2026 exam dates; the latest key is for HTET 2025. For that cycle, BSEH made the draft answer keys for all subjects of Level-1 (PRT), Level-2 (TGT) and Level-3 (PGT) public from 5:00 pm on 6 July 2026, after the exam on 4 and 5 July 2026. Objections closed at 5:00 pm on 9 July 2026, and the result was declared on 22 August 2026.

How did HTET 2025 objections work?

Under BSEH Circular 09 of 6 July 2026, a candidate could object to any question in the question booklet, or to the answer option given for any question in the key. Objections were filed online on the portal on the Board's website, with full facts and evidence and a fee of ₹100 per question. If an objection is found correct, the fee for that question goes back to the bank account the candidate gave, within three months of the result. Objections arriving by any route after 5:00 pm on 9 July 2026 were not considered. The key itself was viewed through a login on htet.eapplynow.com that asked for the level, registration number and date of birth.

The information bulletin adds three rules. Objections sent offline by fax, application or e-mail are not entertained. Keys are finalised on the final report of the subject experts. The Board's decision on objections is final.

How to calculate your HTET score from the key

Each level is one paper of 150 multiple-choice questions over two and a half hours (150 minutes). Every question carries one mark and has four options, and there is no negative marking, so your raw score is simply the number of your answers that match the key. Compare it with the qualifying marks:

• All categories except Scheduled Castes and differently abled candidates: 60% (90 marks).
• Scheduled Castes and differently abled candidates of Haryana domicile: 55% (82 marks).
• Scheduled Castes and differently abled candidates of other states: 60% (90 marks).

Blank answers fall under a separate rule. In HTET 2025, candidates who did not darken any of the four circles in more than 20 questions were disqualified, and their OMR sheets were not evaluated. The bulletin also says there is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of OMR sheets.

What happened after the HTET 2025 key?

The result was declared on 22 August 2026. The bulletin says the final answer key is uploaded after the result, and the portal has a separate "View Final Answer Key" login using the level, registration number and date of birth. Then BSEH Circular 19 of 28 September 2026 said that, after a re-review report on candidates' representations about question papers and answer keys, a revised result would be declared soon after biometric verification. Candidates with "NOT QUALIFIED" or "DisQualified" status can view their OMR sheet on the OMR login for ₹100 for each viewing.
