HTET Cut Off
HTET has a fixed qualifying bar, not a year-wise cut off. Because it is a qualifying test rather than a competitive one, the mark you need to pass is set in the rules and does not change from year to year.
Qualifying marks
Each level is out of 150 marks. A candidate is declared HTET pass on scoring:
| Category | Qualifying % | Qualifying marks (of 150) |
|---|---|---|
| General | 60% | 90 |
| SC / PwD of Haryana | 55% | 82–83 |
Other reserved categories of Haryana (BC, EWS, ex-servicemen, etc.) qualify at the relaxed percentage fixed in the Board's scheme of examination.
What the qualifying mark does
Crossing the qualifying mark makes you HTET pass and earns a certificate valid for life for teacher recruitment in Haryana. It does not by itself secure a post — recruitment is a separate process, so a mark comfortably above the bar is worth aiming for even though the bar itself is fixed.
