For UBSI posts
- Written examination is conducted for UBSI posts.
- Sections in the question paper: There will be 3 sections in the UBSI examination.
- Maximum Marks: UBSI examination are for 300 marks.
- Duration of the examination: Candidates have to complete examination in 60 minutes.

SF 10 group
SF 10 ABSI posts
- A written examination is condcted for SF 10 ABSI post.
- Section of the paper: SF 10 ABSI posts will have 3 sections.
- Total marks: 200 marks
- Duration of examination: 120 minutes + 75 minutes + 75 minutes
- Distribution of question:

SF 10 Commando and other SF 10 posts
- A written examination (multiple choice/OMR based) is conducted for SF 10 commando and other SF 10 posts.
- Sections of the paper: Shall have only 1 paper.
- Duration of examination: 60 minutes.
- Maximum marks: A total of 200 marks.
For Follower group
No written examination is conducted for the post of the Follower. However, a trade test is conducted for 150 marks on 3 categories which are
- Cook
- Barber
- Sweeper

Meghalaya Police is conducting the examination for unarmed branch and armed branch group, SF 10 group and follower group.
