Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) invited applications from eligible candidates to fill 300 vacant seats for the post of Sub Inspector. The applications were to be filled in online mode from 13 January 2017 to 02 February 2017. The exam conducting body had also facilitated the online application medium at its official website at mahampsc.gov.in. all the candidates who have filled the applications within this time period only will be able to appear for the examination. The selection process will be done in three stages. A preliminary exam of total 100 marks, Main exam of total 200 marks and an interview. The candidates who qualify in all the three stages will be recruited as Sub Inspector. The State Excise preliminary Examination – will be conducted on 28 May 2017 and the Main Exam will be conducted 24 September 2017.
The selection process will also comprise of Physical standard test and Interview. Please note that the at the last date to apply has already expired. However, the recruitment process is still ongoing. MPSC Sub Inspector Recruitment 2017 – Exam Pattern
All the candidate who have filled their Application form are eligible to appear in the Exam conducted by Maharashtra Public Service Commission. Candidates need to know that the Recruitment examination will be conducted in two stages Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.
- Preliminary Exam – 100 marks
- Main Examination – 200 marks
Qualified candidates in the Preliminary Examination are only be eligible to appear in the Main Examination which will be held on 24 Sep 2017.
MPSC Sub Inspector Recruitment 2017 – Selection Process
The MPSC Recruitment 2017 is being conducted to recruit sub inspectors to fill 300 vacant positions in Maharashtra. The candidate must be a fluent Marathi language speaker.All the applicants will go through three stages.
- State Excise preliminary Examination,
- Main Exam and
- Personal Interview
The candidates will first have to pass the State Excise preliminary Examination – 2017 which is a screening test. The candidate will have to get qualifying marks in this exam to be able to move to the Main exam. After that, there will be an Interview along with a Physical standard test. The candidates will be required to have certain requirements to appear in this PST test which is as follows:-
