Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has declared the sub-inspector, state excise main examination 2017 list of the candidates – eligible for the recommendation through the waiting list. The list has been declared at the official website i.e. www.mpsc.gov.in. The selection process will be done in three stages. A preliminary exam of total 100 marks, Main exam of total 200 marks and an interview. The candidates who qualify in all the three stages will be recruited as Sub Inspector. Name of the Exam: Sub Inspector, State Excise Examination – 2017
Age Limit: The age limit of candidates should be between 18 – 38 years as on May 01, 2017.
Educational Qualification: Candidates need to have a Graduation degree or equivalent with at least 50% minimum marks from a recognised University.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks and performance State Excise preliminary Examination, Main Exam and Personal Interview.
MPSC Sub Inspector Recruitment 2017 – Exam Pattern
All the candidate who have filled their Application form are eligible to appear in the Exam conducted by Maharashtra Public Service Commission. Candidates need to know that the Recruitment examination will be conducted in two stages Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.

MPSC Sub Inspector Recruitment 2017 – Selection Process
The MPSC Recruitment 2017 is being conducted to recruit sub inspectors to fill 300 vacant positions in Maharashtra. The candidate must be a fluent Marathi language speaker.All the applicants will go through three stages.
- State Excise preliminary Examination,
- Main Exam and
- Personal Interview
The candidates will first have to pass the State Excise preliminary Examination – 2017 which is a screening test. The candidate will have to get qualifying marks in this exam to be able to move to the Main exam. After that, there will be an Interview along with a Physical standard test.
