- Number series, simplification, quadratic equation, data interpretation, approximation, averages, problem on ages, simple and compound interest, mixture and allegation, time, distance and speed, partnership, time and word, ratios and proportion.
Reasoning ability
- Inequality, coding-decoding, puzzles, syllogism, alphanumeric series, alphabet test, blood relations, seating arrangements, distance and relations, analogy.
General English
- Reading comprehension, cloze test, spotting errors, sentence improvement, para jumbles, idioms and phrases, fill in the blanks, etc.
General Awareness
- This section is vast to cover. Questions are generally asked from
- Current affairs –Current affairs/news from banking, financial section are asked in the paper. Candidates can go through the 5-6 months of current affairs for better preparation for this section.
- Static awareness – History, Geography, Political Science, countries and its capital, important national park/wildlife sanctuaries/airports/dams, awards and honours, important dates and days, etc.
- Banking Awareness – From this section, candidates are advised to memorize full form of banks, history of RBI, the definition of financial terms, current economy questions.
