National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (NHPC) recruitment is a Hydropower generation company. The company was established in the year 1975. The NHPC is a Mini- Ratna Category-I enterprise of the Govt. of India. The company has a share capital of Rs. 2,000 million. The PSU (NHPCL) stresses on an overall development of Hydroelectric power through rigorous planning, promoting and organizing the projects. Major Projects Handled

The execution of both the Hydroelectric projects i.e., salal stage I Baira Siul and Loktak Hydroelectric Plant has been commissioned successfully by NHPC. Previously these projects were handled by Central Hydroelectric Project Construction and Control Board. In its achievements,, is included major project completions. To name a few, the company has handled 5 projects with an installed capacity of 89.35 MW on turnkey basis. As to its current progress, NHPC limited has become the largest organization for hydropower development in India.

Future Plans of NHPC

According to the official data available, the company has planned a set course in which is included working on adding about 6,000 MW of hydropower capacity to develop the hydropower plants in India. Further, its main thrust is upon adding about 1702 MW of hydropower capacity plants during 12th Plan period of which 1372 MW has already been completed.
