RRB Technician eligibility requires For Technician Grade I Signal, a three-year Diploma or Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline. For Technician Grade III, Class 10 pass plus ITI in the notified trade, or a Course Completed Act Apprenticeship. Age limits are 18 to 33 years as on 01.07.2026 (18 to 30 years for certain posts).

Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply. The qualification must be complete on or before the closing date for applications — this is stated explicitly in the CEN and is a common cause of rejection.
