RRB Technician Admit Card 2026: CEN 02/2026 Call Letter, DV

The RRB Technician admit card for CEN 02/2026 has already been issued and used: the Computer Based Test (CBT) was held from 6 to 9 October 2026. The city intimation links went live on 27 September 2026 for Technician Grade III and on 2 October 2026 for Technician Grade I Signal. The e-call letters followed about 4 days before each candidate's exam date. Technician recruitment has a single CBT, so the next call letter is the e-call letter for document verification (DV), which only shortlisted candidates receive.

How the CEN 02/2026 call letters were issued

• Separate links: the RRBs posted one city intimation link for Technician Grade III and another for Technician Grade I Signal, as the two pay levels have separate CBTs.
• Login: Registration Number, with your date of birth as the password (the login page gives the example 26/01/1990). If you have lost your registration number, the page says you can get it from rrbapply.gov.in with your credentials, or from your registered email.
• Timing: the exam city was shown 10 days (tentatively) before the exam date, and e-call letters started 4 days (tentatively) before it. No call letter is sent by post.
• Helpdesk: 9513166371, Monday to Saturday, 09:00 am to 06:00 pm, as given in the city slip notice of 27 September 2026.
• Mock tests: the RRBs posted a mock test link on 27 September 2026 and a separate one for Technician Grade I on 3 October 2026.

One centre changed after the call letters were out. The notice of 4 October 2026 moved the Technician Grade III exam of 6 and 7 October 2026 from Akhil Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Nursing, Sikar, to Khwaja Gharib Nawaz College of Nursing, Sikar, on the same dates. Affected candidates were told by SMS, email and automated voice calls.

Exam-day rules in CEN 02/2026

• Bring the e-call letter with a valid original photo ID, such as a Voter ID, Aadhaar card, e-Aadhaar printout, driving licence, PAN card or passport. Without it you are not allowed to appear.
• Bring a colour passport photograph not older than two months from the date of the CBT.
• Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication was done before entry, with the original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar. Candidates were told to keep their Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system.
• Write the self-declaration, sign and give your left thumb impression on the e-call letter in the exam hall, in front of the invigilator. A signature in CAPITAL letters is rejected.
• Only the e-call letter is allowed inside. CEN 02/2026 bans mobile phones, watches, earphones, Bluetooth devices, health bands, calculators, pens and pencils (a pen is provided), belts, handbags, caps, purses, cameras, water bottles and food. Henna on hands or feet is discouraged as it obstructs biometric capture. A violation can mean disqualification, legal action and debarment from future recruitment exams.

The next call letter: document verification

Candidates are shortlisted for DV RRB-wise in a 1:1 ratio to the vacancies of that RRB, on CBT merit, with normalised marks for the multi-shift CBT. They are told through the RRB websites and by SMS and email to download their DV e-call letter. Bring the e-call letter, all original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies. Upload your photo and signature on oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv before the DV date. In the previous cycle, CEN 02/2025, RRB Chandigarh's DV schedule set reporting at 09:30 AM. It also gave a block date as the second and final chance for candidates who missed their DV date with documentary proof of a university or government exam, or sickness.
