#1 Nationality – राष्ट्रीयता
- Yeh zaroori hai ki aap Citizen ho India ke.
- Par Government jobs ke liye Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam ke citizens bhi apply kar sakte hai.
-Tibet ke wahi log apply kare who came to India, before January 01, 1962 and settled in India.
-Baki countries ke candidates should come under Person of Indian Origin category and should be ready to settle in India.
#2 Age Limit – आयु सीमा
- Lower age limit is 18 years
- Upper age limit is 33 years
- The cutoff date for lower and upper limit is July 01, 2024.
Relaxation on age (आयु सीमा पर छूट) limit is as below:

| Ex-Servicemen (more than 6 months service) | Upto the extent of service in defence + 3 years |
| Ex-Servicemen (PwD OBC-NCL) | Upto the extent of service in defence + 6 years |
| Ex-Servicemen (PwD SC / ST) | Upto the extent of service in defence + 8 years |
| Candidates serving Railway under Group C and D for at least 3 years: UR – General / सामान्य | 40 years is upper age limit 43 years is upper age limit 45 years is upper age limit |
| Staff of Quasi-Administrative office under Railway canteens, co-operative societies and institutes | Up to the extent of service OR 5 years, whichever is lower |
| Female candidates, who are widowed, divorced or separated from husband: UROBC-NCL SC / ST | 35 years is upper age limit 38 years is upper age limit 40 years is upper age limit |
| Course completed Act Apprentices, applying for the posts for which minimum qualification is ITI / Course Completed Act Apprenticeship. | Extended to the length of Apprentice Training undergone by them under the Apprentice Act 1961. |
| Candidates who are Course Completed Act Apprentice under the Apprenticeship Act before attaining the age of 25 years:

#3 Education Qualification
- Educational / Technical qualification is as below:
- Any of the following: 10 + ITI or 10 + Complete Act Apprenticeship or 3 years Diploma

Medical Standard for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024
It is essential for candidates to meet specific medical standards. The medical criteria will be assessed during Document Verification. However, if these standards are not met, you will be deemed ineligible. Therefore, it is advisable to ensure that you meet the prescribed medical standards for the position of ALP. Candidates who are medically unsuitable for this position will not be offered alternative appointments.
