RRB Group D CBT Exam Pattern
Applicants must be aware of the exam pattern of the RRB Group D as it is going to be a helping hand in the preparation of the exam. Check the details given below.
Number of Questions in the Exam – The number of questions is 100 which are multiple choice based.
Duration of the Exam – For the computer-based test, candidates get 90 minutes. PwD category candidates get 120 minutes (2 hours).
Subjects – The questions in the CBT are pertaining to the subjects like:

- General Science
- General Awareness and Current Affairs
Negative Marking – For every incorrect answer, 1/3 marks are deducted from the total score.

About RRB Group D Recruitment
The RRB Group D recruitment is open for 62907 vacancies. The posts which come under Level – 1 posts are helper, track maintenance, gateman, pointsman, Signal and Telecommunication Helpers, Porters, etc. The shortlisting of the candidates is done on the basis of CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) followed by the document verification. Candidates eligible for the round of document verification also need to pas the medical exam for the appointment of the post. Aspirants are recruited on the 7th CPC pay matrix and get the pay scale of Rs. 18000, plus allowances.
