SSC Stenographer Previous Year Question Papers PDF (Hindi & English)

SSC Stenographer previous year question papers, free to download as PDFs — the Grade C and Grade D computer-based exam, shift-wise, with separate English and Hindi papers for the recent sittings. Pick a year in the table, or scroll down for every paper.

SSC Stenographer exam pattern these papers follow

Candidates who clear the CBE go on to the stenography skill test. The full topic list is on the SSC Stenographer syllabus page.

How to use these papers

1. Attempt a full paper in one timed sitting.
2. Score it with the real marking scheme applied — 0.25 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
3. Identify the weakest section and revise that first.
4. Repeat with another paper to check whether accuracy improved.

Why shift-wise papers matter

SSC runs each examination across many shifts with different papers, which is exactly why marks are normalised. Working several shifts gives a truer sense of the difficulty band than one paper.

SSC Stenographer previous year papers: FAQs

Are the papers available in Hindi?

Yes for the recent sittings: each shift is listed twice, once “in English” and once “in Hindi”.

Is the paper the same for Grade C and Grade D?

Both posts are recruited through one Stenographer Grade C and D examination, so these papers serve both.

Do these papers come with answers?

The PDFs are the question papers. SSC releases the tentative answer key with candidates’ responses on ssc.gov.in for a limited window after each exam; see the SSC Stenographer answer key page for the current cycle.
