MAHA SET — the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH-SET) — is the UGC-accredited eligibility test for Assistant Professor posts in universities and affiliated colleges of Maharashtra and Goa, conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) as the State Agency. Qualifying SET establishes that you meet the standard required to apply; it is separate from the selection process that actually fills vacancies. The 41st MH-SET, first advertised for 26 July 2026, was held on 25 October 2026; the answer keys and result will follow on setexam.unipune.ac.in.
