TS TET 2022 – The Government School Education Department of Telangana conducts the TS TET as an annual statewide exam. TS TET 2022 admit card will be out on June 06, 2022. TS TET exam is on June 12, 2022. Candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to VIII in schools in Telangana State can attend TS TET exam. TS TET has two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I of TS TET is for lower primary level teachers. Whereas Paper II of TS TET is for upper primary level teachers. TS TET 2022 Notification PDF
The official TS TET 2022 notification PDF has been released on the official website at tstet.cgg.gov.in. It was released by the Government School Education Department of Telangana on March 25, 2022. Subsequently, the notification contains information like date of exam, starting date of registration and last date of application. TS TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for TS TET 2022 candidates should satisfy the following eligibility criteria below. However the detailed eligibility criteria can be found in the official notification.
Educational Qualification
Paper I
- Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates) AND pass in 2 – year Diploma/ 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)/2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
- Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates) AND pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to D. El. Ed /D.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines ( 23-12-2015).
OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks (in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates it shall be 45%) AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Bachelor of Education (Special Education)
Paper II
- B.A./B.Sc./B. Com., with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates 45% marks) AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B. Ed -Special Education).
OR
- B.A./B.Sc./B. Com., with at least 50% marks (However for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%) AND pass in Bachelor of Education(B. Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B. Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to B.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines (23-12-2015).
OR
- 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks (in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%)
OR
- Graduation with language concerned as one of the optional subjects OR Bachelor of oriental language (or its equivalent) OR Graduation in literature OR Post Graduation in language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.
OR
- B.E/B. Tech with at least 50% marks and Passed / Pursuing B.Ed. or B.Ed. (Special Education) (Subsequently for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%)
TS TET 2022 Application Form
Below given are steps on how to apply for TS TET 2022.
1st Step: Firstly go to tstet.cgg.gov.in
2nd Step: Secondly click on the ‘Online Payment’ link
3rd Step: On the new window enter details like the candidates name, date of birth and mobile number.
4th Step: Give payment Gateway details and remit Rs.300
5th Step: The Journal No, Payment Date, Reference Id, Online Application link etc. will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number after successful payment
6th Step: From the ‘Online Application link’ in the home page candidate can finish the application process.

TS TET Exam Pattern 2022
The TS TET exam pattern should be gone through in detail by every candidate. The exam pattern is the blueprint of the TS TET exam and you will understand the mark distribution and weightage for each subject in this section.

- Duration of exam: 2 hours and 30 minutes for each paper
- Type of questions: The examination will be conducted in multiple choice question(MCQ) format.

TS TET Exam Preparation
The biggest question that arises after going through the TS TET exam pattern is how to prepare for it. The syllabus is quite vast and complicated for beginners but in this section candidates will be able to find subject wise guidelines for preparation.
Child development and pedagogy
- Refer to the previous year question papers and revise section wise
- Attempt timed mock tests on the daily
Language I and language II
- Practice paragraph based questions to improve comprehension skills
- Preposition, direct and indirect speech, error identification etc. should be studied for English
- Work on improving vocabulary, tenses, use of active and passive voice and grammar
Mathematics
- Study from NCERT textbooks and solve most if not all of the example questions
- Geometry, Trigonometry etc. are important topics
- Practice basic computations without the use of calculators
Environmental studies
- Previous year question papers should be referred to
- Air, Water and Energy are all important topics
- Mock tests are a great tool for preparation
- Also refer to standardized textbooks like Wiley’s publication
Social Studies
- History, geography, politics and economics till the 12th level education (preferably refer to NCERT books) should be repeatedly revised
- Keep updated on current affairs with concentration on topics of political advancements, treaties, social structure and inequalities

TS TET 2022 Admit card
Candidates can download their TS TET 2022 Hall Ticket from the website at tstet.cgg.gov.in. In case any candidate could not download their Hall ticket she/he should contact the Director, SCERT & Ex- officio Director, SCERT, Hyderabad. Candidates should provide details of the journal number of the fee paid, candidate ID of the application submitted, a copy of the printout of the Application form and one photograph (same as on the application form). Request for issue of duplicate Hall Ticket will not be entertained after the examination is over in any case.
TS TET Answer Key 2022
Answer key for TS TET releases on the official website – tstet.cgg.gov.in. Aspirants can use the provisional TS TET answer key 2022 to calcute the tentaive scores. But if the candidates find the answers to be incorrect they may raise an objection and challenge the provisional TS TET answer key. Once this window is closed, the concerned authority will publish a revised answer key or the final answer key on the official website.
TS TET Result 2022
After the revised/official TS TET answer key is published, the concerned authority will declare TSTET result online. Candidates can check their results at : tstet.cgg.gov.in. Candidates should score above the minimum qualifying marks set by the authorities to qualify. In order to qualify general category candidates need a minimum of 60%. Whereas, BC candidates need a minimum of 50%. And in case of SC/ST/ Differently abled (PH) candidates a minimum of 40% marks is needed.
About the Government School Education Department
The Government School Education Department comes under the State Institute of Educational Technology or SIET. SIET was established in the year 1985. This wing functions under the education ministry of Telangana. Smt. A. Sridevasena, IAS is the current Commissioner and director of the School education wing. This department also takes care of the school level education of Telangana’s youth. The government school education department also initiates conducting teachers eligibility tests. They also issue certifications for qualified candidates.

Ans: The TS TET exam will give qualified candidates a certification which can be used as eligibility by teaching aspirants.
A minimum of 60% marks for general category candidates, 50% for BC candidates and 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled (PH) candidates.
Rs. 300 should be remitted by the candidates to apply for TS TET.
