Department of Post, Andhra Pradesh has released the Result for the AP Postal Circle MTS Recruitment 2018 held on June 24, 2018. The result is available on the official website of Andhra Pradesh Postal Department, appost.in. The candidate who appeared for the recruitment process had to give the Aptitude Test of the level of 10th standard. In order to apply for the desired post, the candidates needed to be eligible as per the norms specified by the conducting body. Now the final result of the recruitment will be released.

Declaration of Result
The result has been declared for the candidates who will appear for the recruitment process of the concerned post. It has been uploaded on the official website i.e. appost.in. The merit list has been prepared for the whole circle. As per the preference of the candidates based on their position in the merit list, they will be allotted to the posts and divisions/units. On the basis of the merit obtained in the test and position in the merit list, the candidates will be taken into consideration for the desired post.

Number of Vacancies and Payscale
The candidates will be selected on the basis of various factors out of which one is the available number of vacancies for the offered post. The candidates will be recruited for the various offices as per the category-wise vacancies. The list of the vacancies is as given in the image below:
The candidates will be recruited with the pay scale of RS. 5200 – 20200 (PB 1) + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- + admissible allowances (Pre-revised scale) (Level-1 pay matrix in the 7th CPC) as prescribed from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria for the Recruitment of AP Postal Circle MTS 2018
The candidates willing to apply for the concerned post must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria specified by the conducting body. Only the eligible candidates will be selected for the final selection. The eligibility criteria consist of the required age limit and educational qualification which is as follows:
Age Limit – The candidates must be minimum 18 years of age and maximum 25 years of age as on the closing date of the online registration i.e. May 12, 2018. The relaxation is provided to the reserved categories candidates by:
- 5 years – SC/ST
- 3 years – OBC
- 10 years – PWD + Unreserved
- 15 years – PWD + SC/ST
- 13 years – PWD + OBC
- 3 years – Ex-serviceman
- 3 years – Service Government Employees
Educational Qualification – The candidates must have the Matriculation or ITI from a recognised Board/University.
Selection Procedure AP Postal Circle MTS Recruitment 2018
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the merit list which will be prepared for the whole circle in respect of all the categories of posts put together. The candidates will be recruited to the posts and divisions/units as per their preference based on their position secured in the merit list and availability of vacancy.
How to Apply
The eligible candidates need to fill the online application form for the recruitment process of the MTS post. The application forms are available on the official website i.e. indiapost.gov.in or appost.in. The candidates are required to fill the inputs standard information i.e. Name, Date of Birth, Community, Gender, Educational Qualification etc. in order to register themselves. After the successful registration, a provision UNique Registration Number (URN) is generated and displayed on the screen which is used at the time of the payment of the prescribed application fee and examination fee.

Instructions Regarding the Online Application
- The candidates can register only once and if any applicant registers more than one application then his/her candidature will be cancelled.
- The candidates are requested to read the detailed notification before filling the application form.
- The candidates will have to indicate their preference of the posts in the application form or else it will be taken as the equal preference for all the posts on the behalf of the candidate.
- Before submitting the application form, the candidates should be ready with the soft copies of passport size photograph with not more than 50 kb ( 165 X 125 pixels) in jpg/jpeg format and signature not more than 20 kb ( 80 X 120 pixels) in jpg/jpeg format which should be uploaded in the application form.
- The candidates are further advised to fill the application form in one go and save the data.

Lastly, the candidates must take a printout of the filled-in application form, the copy of fee challan/receipt and Registration slip for any future reference.
Admit Card/Hall Permit
After the successful application process, the candidates are getting the admit card/hall ticket after notifying the date of the examination on the website. The admit card can be downloaded from the website i.e. appost.in in order to appear for the examination. It is an important document, therefore, the candidates are required to carry it on the day of the examination and also retain it until the end of the recruitment process.

Exam Pattern
The candidates had to appear for the Aptitude Test which consists of Objective-type questions of 100 marks with the level of 10th standard covering the following subjects/topics. The test held for 120 minutes. There were four parts and no negative marking for the incorrect answers.

Qualifying Marks
The candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the four parts of the test. The category-wise marks are as follows:
- Part A and B – Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST and 9 marks for OBC candidates in each part.
- Part C (Two SEgments) – Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST and 9 marks for OBC candidates in each segment.
- 40 marks for OC, 33 marks for SC/ST and 37 marks for OBC candidates in aggregate with the above-mentioned conditions.
Probation
After the final selection, the candidates will be appointed for the mentioned post and will be on probation for two years. The training will be imparted to the selected candidates as prescribed by the conducting body.
