APSC CCE 2022 Syllabus
The syllabus for the Combined Competitive Examination APSC is mentioned in three parts i.e. preliminary exam, for the main exam, and for the direct recruitment. It includes the detailed topics and scope of study which a candidate appearing for the same exam needs to cover. For each exam conducted by Assam Public Service Commission, there is a syllabus according to which exams are conducted. The topics asked are the same as are covered in the syllabus. Syllabus for APSC CCE 2022 Mains
Mains exams for APSC CCE consist of 8 papers out of which 2 are qualifying in nature.
The subjects covered are enumerated below
- Essay
- GS Paper I and II
- GS Paper III and IV
- General subject on Assam
- Paper A- Language selected by the candidate
- Paper B- Test of understanding ability
Syllabus for personality test
After the candidate qualifies for the mains and the preliminary exams, candidates are called for the personal interview session. The cut-offs are then released on the basis of the evaluation of performance in the mains exam and personality test.
APSC CCE 2022 Exam Pattern
There are different marks allocation for the preliminary, mains and personal interview. While preliminary consists of 400 marks, main consists of 2275 marks and personal interview is held for 275 marks.
The language papers in the main exam are of qualifying nature and the candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in those papers to qualify for the personal interview
The papers of the candidates qualifying in the language papers will be checked and a merit list will be made on the basis of marks gained by the candidates in the mains written exam. The final merit list and selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their marks in the mains written exam (Except language papers) and their overall performance in the personal interview round.

About APSC CCE
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts various examinations each year for the recruitment of Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ officers. The commission conducts the Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) for the appointment of officers for various posts under the state government of Assam. As per the new provisions of APSC (Amendment) Rules, 2019, the commission divides the whole recruitment drive into three exams – Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, and Personal Interview.
