APSC CCE 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates planning to appear for the APSC CCE 2022 exams must check the eligibility criteria mentioned below to ascertain whether they are eligible to appear for the exam
- Nationality: Only Indian citizens are allowed to appear for the APSC CCE 2022 exam
- Age Limit: The candidate’s minimum age should be at least 21 years and no one beyond 38 years of age as on the year of the exam will be allowed to appear for the exam. Some reserved candidates get the age relaxation as per norms set by the Indian Government.
- Candidates belonging to the reserved categories will get age relaxation only in the upper age limit.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ ST category shall get relaxation by 5 years.
- OBC category candidates other than the creamy layer get upper age relaxation by 3 years.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university or college to be eligible for the exam.
The candidates whose final results will be declared after the closing date of submission are not eligible to apply
Steps to Apply for APSC CCE Recruitment
All the eligible candidates are supposed to apply online only and can fill the application form following the guidelines mentioned on the official site.
- Candidates are supposed to visit the official site, apsc.nic.in.
- On the home page, click on the “APSC CCE 2022 Recruitment” tab.
- After registration for APSC CCE exams 2022 enter the login details through registration number and password..
- The candidates need to mention the asked information in the application form like complete name, address, contact number and other important information required there.
- Upload your recent photograph, signature along with uploading all the scanned required documents.
- Pay the requisite application fees using your credit ,debit card or net banking facility.

The APSC CCE 2022 Exam has three stages. Each stage has its own patten which will be discussed here-
APSC CCE 2022 Prelims Exam Pattern
The APSC CCE 2022 Prelims Exam is like a screening test. The scores achieved in this first round will not be considered while calculating the final scores. But it is important to clear this stage to proceed further in the recruitment process.
- The APSC CCE 2022 Prelims test will have two MCQ papers, whose combined duration is 4 hours
- All questions will be MCQ format.
- Candidates will be provided with an answer sheet in Optical Mark Recognition Format.
- Candidates are supposed to use either a black or blue color ball pen.
- For each incorrect attempt, ¼ score will be deducted.
- Candidates checking on more than one answer will result in negative marking.
- The General Studies II paper shall be qualifying in nature and candidates need to get at least 33% marks.

APSC CCE 2022 Mains Exam Pattern
Only those who cleared the first stage will be eligible to give the next round test. The questions asked in the mains exam will be of subjective type. The marks secured in these levels will not be added at the time of final merit list. However, the minimum qualifying marks to be obtained in Paper ‘A’ and Paper ‘B’ is 25%.

Qualifying Language Papers
- Paper A -Any one of the mentioned languages from Assamese, Bengali, Bodo. Candidates belonging to DimaHasao, Karbi Anglong, and West Karbi Anglong districts who don’t know these languages or didn’t study the same in their school will get an exemption from appearing for Paper A.

Viva /Interview test
The board will take an interview of the candidates in which their academic career will be discussed. The marks obtained in this round will be added to the marks scored in the Mains, and the ranks will be finalized based on the overall marks obtained. Candidates qualifying the Main exam will be invited for a viva-voce test. Total Marks in this round will be 275.
