APTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

- 12th or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and 02-year Diploma in Elementary education. OR
- 12th or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.ED). OR
- 12th or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
- Graduation degree with 02-year Diploma in Elementary Education
Upper Primary Teacher
- Graduation with 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education by whatever name known. OR
- Graduation with at least 50% and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
- 12th or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- 12th or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 04 years BA-B.Ed/B.Sc-B.Ed
- Maximum age limit for primary Teacher: 30 years
- Maximum Age limit for Upper Primary Teacher: 35 years
5% relaxation in qualifying marks for the reserved candidates as per the State Govt. norms.
