About Goa TET
Candidates aspiring to become teachers of various government and recognised private institutions in the state of Goa appear for this test. This exam is conducted on a yearly basis by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) of Goa. The Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) certificate is mandatory for recruitment as a teacher.
The exam consists of two papers i.e. Paper-I & II. Candidates who aspire to qualify for teaching at the primary level i.e. Class I to V can sit for Paper-I and Paper-II is for those who aspire to qualify as teachers of the elementary level; i.e. Class VI to VIII. Candidates who aspire to qualify as teachers of both primary and elementary levels must sit for both papers and qualify with the minimum marks.
