BIS Admit Card 2018 – Download BIS Scientist B Admit Card

The BIS Exam scheduled to be held on April 15, 2018, has been cancelled. BIS Admit Card 2018 has been issued for download on April 07, 2018. How to Download the BIS Admit Card 2018?

Candidates can download BIS Scientist B- Application Form by entering following details for Login :

  • Selecting Language Hindi/ English
  • Entering Registration Number or Roll Number
  • Entering Password or date of Birth

FAQs on BIS Admit Card 2018

Q1. What should I do if there is a lot of delay in accessing the page?
A1. If you are not able to download Admit Card immediately, please retry after a gap of 5 minutes or during off-peak hours during the night. Internet-based Call letter download depends on various factors like Internet Speed, a large number of Applicants trying to download the Call Letter at the same time etc.

Q2. From where can I get the Registration No and Password?
A2. The Registration No and Password is generated at the time of registration and displayed on the screen. These are also sent to the candidate immediately upon successful registration, by way of auto-generated email acknowledgment, at the email address registered by him.

Q3. My Date of Birth is rejected on the login screen.
A3. Candidate should ensure that the Date of Birth is same as he had entered at the time of registration. Candidate can refer the Application Print for the Date of Birth entered by him. The date of Birth should be entered in DD-MM-YY format.

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure for BIS Scientist-‘B’ includes the eligible candidates to appear for an online examination at their own expense. The candidates who get shortlisted in the online examination will be subsequently called for an interview. All the necessary details related to structure, center, the address of interview, time and date will be duly informed to the candidate in the call letter. Candidates can download their interview call letter from BIS official website only.

Structure of Online Test

  • There will be a total of 200 questions, 50 for each subject- Reasoning, English, Technical Knowledge of Concerned Discipline and Quantitative Aptitude with one mark for each question.
  • Total time duration will be 120 minutes.
  • Only English language test will be available bilingually in English and Hindi.
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every one question wrong.

Cut Off

Candidates need to secure a minimum of 50 percent marks in the ‘Technical Knowledge of Concerned Discipline’ test and minimum of 50 percent marks out of total marks to be considered for interview in the online examination.

Identity Verification

At the examination hall and at the interview, Admit Card along with original and a photocopy of candidates recent valid photo identity such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Permanent Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank or Post Office Passbook with photograph/ valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College/ University/ Aadhar/ E-Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card with photograph should be submitted to the invigilator for verification.

Biometric Data

Thumb impression and photograph of the candidate will be captured on the day of Online examination. The biometric data and photograph will be verified subsequently.
