UPTET Previous Year Question Papers– Uttar Pradesh Teaching Eligibility Test (UPTET) is conducted by the Examination Regulatory Authority of Uttar Pradesh for the recruitment of teachers for class 1st to 5th and class 6th to 8th. UPTET Previous Year Question Papers
The question paper of the UPTET exam has objective type questions only. There will be 150 questions in each paper for the exam. The candidates will get 2 hours 30 minutes to solve the question paper. Significance Of UPTET Previous Year Question Papers
The previous year question papers are a very effective and smart way of preparing for an exam. Candidates can use the question paper to choke out the questions and the topics that are important from the exam point of view. - Make yourself comfortable with the sitting. Keep calm and focus.
- Set timer of 2 hours 30 minutes for attempting the question paper.
- Now, start the timer and solve the question paper.
- As soon as the paper is complete and the time is up, set the papet aside.
- Further, analyse the attempted for the question paper and see what more could be done and which topics are there to revise.
- The candidates must also note the important topics that theu did not revise.
- Now, candidates have to check the question paper attempted and know their marks.
- Here, they must not forget to jot down the mistake they did while attempting the paper and then prepare accordingly for the next test.
Structure of UPTET Question Paper
The candidates must know the structure of the question paper to figure out strategies to attempt the UPTET question paper most efficiently in the exam. The UPTET question paper has 150 questions of 1 mark each. All the questions will be of objective MCQ type only. Candidates will have 150 minutes to solve the question paper. So, the candidates will have exactly 1 minute to solve the question paper. Therefore, they must maintain the speed to attempt the questions in the exam.
The question paper will have 5 sections in the paper-1 and 4 sections in paper-2. There is no negative marking for the wrong marks. Therefore, the candidates must attempt all the questions in the question paper. All the questions will be in Hindi as well as in English. Each question paper will have 4 option and only 1 of the 4 options will be the right answers.
UPTET Answer Key
The answer key of UPTET exam helps the candidates know the score of the exam before the official result is released. Candidate can download the answer key from the official website after the exam. The answer key is the set of all the right answers for the question paper in the exam. Candidates can use it to know their probable marks score for the exam.
Candidates can also object to the official answer by filling the objection form. The final answer key is published by the authorities after considering all the objections. The changes in the answer key apply to all the candidates equally.
About UPTET
UPTET is conducted by the Exam Regulatory Authority Uttar Pradesh for recruitment of the teacher for the primary and upper primary exams. Candidates who wish to be a teacher for primary classes appear for paper-1 and the upper primary class has to appear for paper-2. Each paper will be of 150 minutes each and there will be 150 questions in the question paper of each paper. Candidates have to score 60% marks that are 90 marks to qualify the exam. The cut off for the candidates of SC, ST, OBC, PwD, ESM and dependents/family members of deceased martyrs categories is 55% i.e. 85 marks. Qualifying candidates will receive a teaching eligibility certificate which will be valid for 5 years from the date of declaration of result.
