Age Limit for District Judge (Entry Level)

  • Candidates should attained the age of 35 years and has not attained the age of 45 years on 1 Jan 2016.
  • Age limit shall be relaxed upto a maximum limit of 3 years for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes

Age Limit for Stenographer & Other Posts

  • Candidates should attained minimum age of 21 years and has not attained maximum age of 30 years.
  • Age limit shall be relaxed upto a maximum limit of 5 years for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes

Interested candidates should submit their applications in the format available on the website ‘www.cghighcourt.nic’ or on this page in along with duly attested certificates / testimonials relating to their date of birth, caste, qualification, domicile, experience standing at the Bar. For Stenographer & Other Posts

Application Form is available for Stenographer & Other Posts.

The application strictly in prescribed proforma (Typed in fullscape size [Legal] paper) must reach the Registrar General, High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bodri, Bilaspur (C.G.) by Registered Post/ Speed Post/ Other Courier/Humdast along with self attested copies of testimonials/certificates regarding age, Caste, qualification.

The applications completed in all respect along-with the enclosures will be accepted upto 5.00 P.M. of 30 Jan 2017. Application received thereafter, will not be entertained.

One envelope should contain only one application.

For District Judge (Entry Level)

Application Process is over now for District Judge (Entry Level).

All the candidates who are already in Government Service or in any Government undertaking or in any type of other organization or appointed in Non-Government institution shall have to produce No Objection Certificate as and when called for.

Application Fee

  • Rs. 700/- for the candidates who are bonafide residents of Chhattisgarh state belonging to SC, ST or OBC as notified for the State of Chhattisgarh.
  • Rs. 1000/- for all the candidates belonging to Unreserved Category and for all the candidates who are not the residents of Chhattisgarh state irrespective of their categories.

Eligibility Criteria for District Judge (Entry Level)

  • Candidate has for at least seven years been an advocate as on 01 Jan 2016
  • Candidate has not more than one spouse living.
  • Candidate has not been dismissed or removed from service by any High Court, Government, Statutory Authority or Local Authority.
  • Candidate has good character and is of sound mind and body and free from any bodily and mental disability.

Eligibility Criteria for Stenographer & Other Posts

Stenographer (Eng.)

  • Must be a Graduate from any recognised university and;
  • Must have passed Shorthand Examination and Typewriting examination in English from any recognized University/Board/ recognised Board of shorthand and typewriting examination @ 80 words per minute and 30 words per minute respectively.

Stenographer (Bilingual)

  • Must be a Graduate from any recognised university and;
  • Must have passed Shorthand Examination and Typewriting examination in English @ 80 words per minute and 30 w.p.m. & in Hindi @ 80 words per minute and 25 w.p.m. respectively from any recognised Board of shorthand and typewriting examination /recognised University/ Board.

Translator

  • Must be a Law Graduate from any recognised University. Weightage shall be given to Legal Assistants attached to the Hon’ble Chief Justice or the Hon’ble Judge, successfully discharging their duties.

Hindi Stenographer

  • Must be a Graduate from any recognised university and;
  • Must have passed Shorthand Examination and Typewriting examination in Hindi @ 80 words per minute and 25 w.p.m. from any re-cognised Board of short-hand and typewriting examination/ recognised University/ Board.

Assistant Librarian

  • Must have Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from any recognised University.

Assistant Grade III

  • Must be a graduate from any recognized University and;
  • One year diploma Course in computer from I.T.I. or any equivalent recognized Board/ University.

Assistant Grade III (Computer)

  • Must be a Graduate from any recognised University and;
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Computer from any Institution recognised by a University (recognised by University Grants Commission).

Assistant Grade III (Photocopy Operator)

  • Must be a graduate from any recognized University and;
  • Two years working experience of Photocopy Machine operation. Preference will be given to those candidates who have any certificate in photocopy machine operation and maintenance and;
  • The candidate must have knowledge of Computer Operation.

Library Assistant (A.G.-III)

  • The candidate must have Bachelors Degree in Library Science from any recognized University.

P.B.X. Operator

  • Must be a Graduate from any recognised University.

CG High Court Admit Card 2016

Admit cards will be available on the official website of High court ‘www.cghighcourt.nic.in’ preferably before 15 days prior to the date of written examination. The candidates are required to download and get the printout of the admit cards from the official website or from this page.

CG High Court Result 2016

After the written Exam candidate will be able to check their result on the official website ‘www.cghighcourt.nic.in’. Final selection will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written exam and in the viva-voice.

Selection Process

For District Judge (Entry Level)

Selection process will be consisting of following:

Written Exam : Eligible candidates shall be required to appear in written examination in the exam-centre.

Candidate appearing in the written examination for selection by direct recruitment from amongst the eligible candidates, must secure 60% marks in case of Unreserved Category and 50% in case of Reserved Category bonafide residents of Chhattisgarh State to qualify for viva-voice test.

Viva-Voice : The candidate will be called for viva voce in order of merit on the basis of their performance in the written examination.

For Stenographer & Other Posts

The eligible candidates will be called for Written Test, Skill Test and or Interview, as may be decided by the Competent Authority.  List of eligible and non eligible candidates will be displayed separately in the notice board and website of this High Court. After completion of scrutiny of applications, the list of eligible and non-eligible candidates will also be uploaded in the website of High Court.
