  1. Computer-Based Examination
  • Type of paper: Objective type paper
  • Number of questions: 100 questions
  • Maximum marks: 100 marks
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Language: English and Hindi
  • Subjects: English Language, Numerical Aptitude, General Awareness, General Intelligence, Computer Fundamentals
  1. Physical Endurance Test
  • Type of test: Screening Test
  • Type of events: Race, Long Jump, High Jump
  • Number of chances per event: Three chances
  • Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for UR/EWS, 35% for SC/ST/OBC, and 30% for ESM/PwD
  1. Typing Test 
  • Type of test: Typing test on computer
  • Maximum marks: 25 marks
  • Minimum speed required: 30 words per minute for typing in English and 25 words per minute for typing in Hindi
  • Duration: 10 minutes
  1. Computer formatting test
  • Type of test: Screening Test
  • Subjects: MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Powerpoint
  • Number of features of formatting: 20 features per section
  • Marks per feature: 0.50 marks
  • Maximum marks: 10 marks per section
  • Minimum qualifying marks: 6 marks per section
  • Duration: 30 minutes

About Delhi Police Head Constable exam

The Delhi Head Constable exam is conducted by the Delhi Police as well as the Staff Selection Commission to recruit aspirants for the non-Gazetted, Ministerial Head Constable post in the Delhi Police. Candidates must pass four stages of the examination process to get shortlisted for the post. The four stages of the examination include a computer-based test, physical endurance test, typing test, and computer formatting test.
