The candidates, who will submit the IBPS RRB 2017 Application Form, in the prescribed format, will be issued admit card for the preliminary exam in the month of August.  The candidates need not submit IBPS RRB application form separately for each participating RRB.

IBPS RRB 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Ineligible candidates will not be recruited, under any circumstances. Hence, the eligibility criteria of the examination must checked before submitted the form.

IBPS Eligibility Criteria states that:

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • For Office Assistant the age limit is 18 to 28 years and for Scale I, II, and III officers it is 21 to 40, 21 to 32, and 18 to 30 years, respectively.
  • The basic education qualification required for the recruitment is that the candidate must have passed degree course from a recognized college or institute.

Prerequisites for Filling IBPS RRB Application Form 2017

While submitting the application form of IBPS RRB, the candidates will need the following documents. Some of it, candidates will have to upload or enter while other will be required to refer for filling the information.

  • Valid personal email ID and active Mobile Number.
  • Scanned photograph and Signature (not in capital letters) as per the specifications.
  • Disability Certificate, if applicable.
  • OBC-NCL Certificate, if belonging to the category.
  • Caste Certificate, if applicable.
  • Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking Details.
To avail the Scribe facility, the candidates will have to state their desire while submitting the IBPS RRB Application Form. Candidates with Cerebral Palsy or belonging to PWD category must state the same while submitting the form. Else, they will not be granted extra 20 minutes during the examination.

IBPS RRB Application Fee

  • Rs. 100 – For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD  category.

The fee amount for IBSP RRB application form can be submitted online only. The candidates can use Credit Card, Debit Card (RuPay/Master Card/Visa/Maestro), Internet Banking, Cash Cards, IMPS, and Mobile Wallets.

How to Submit IBPS RRB 2017 Application Form

It is very important to submit the application form of IBPS RRB 2017 in the prescribed format. The step-by-step procedure to submit the application form, along with the images for better explanation, is as below:

Step 1 – Accessing the IBPS RRB Online Registration Portal

First of all, the candidates will have to click on the links given above. It will lead to the window as shown above. Then, the candidates will have to click on “Click Here for New Registration” button. The button will lead to the next window, which will look as show in the image below.

Step 2 – New Registration

To register, the candidates will have to submit the following details:

  • First Name
  • Confirm First Name
  • Middle Name
  • Confirm Middle
  • Last Name
  • Confirm Last Name
  • Full Name
  • Mobile Number
  • Confirm Mobile Number
  • Alternative Number (Mobile/Landline)
  • E-mail ID
  • Confirm E-Mail ID
  • Security Code

Once all of these details are submitted, the candidates will have to click on the “Save and Next” button to move further with the application process. Following it, the candidates will receive an e-mail and an SMS. It will contain the IBPS RRB Registration Number 2017 and Password.

Step 3: Uploading of Scanned Documents

Now, the window as shown below will open. In it, the candidates will have to upload the Photograph and Signature as per the specifications mentioned below:-

Step 4 – Filling of RRB Application Form

When all images will be uploaded, the IBPS RRB Application Form will open and the candidates will be able to submit the following details in it:

  • Personal Details
  • Education Qualification Details
  • Professional Qualification Details
  • Details of Computer Skills
  • Language Known
  • Bank Preference and Post

When the details are filled, click on ‘Save and Next’ so that details can be edited later. After clicking on Final submit, it won’t be possible to edit the details.

Step 5 – Payment of Application Fee

Now, the candidates will have to submit the application. The amount of the fee and the medium to submit it is as stated above. After submitting the application fee, the candidates must secure the generated receipt of it.

Step 6 – Print the Confirmation Page

Take the printout of generated e-Receipt and Application form. If the e-Receipt is not generated that it means the transaction was not successful.

A. It is always advised to secure the printout of the application form. However, if the candidate forgot to do so then no need to worry. The important details like the User Id and Password are e-mailed to the candidates during the form filling.
