IBPS RRB 2022 – Provisional Allotment List 2021 Out

IBPS RRB 2022- The provisional allotment list for IBPS RRB 2021 is now available at ibps.in. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a recruitment exam of Regional Rural Bank (RRB) every year for the selection of officers and office assistants in Regional rural banks throughout the country. The IBPS RRB exam is conducted in two parts namely preliminary and main exams. The selection of candidates is made based on the performance of prelims, mains, and final interviews. The IBPS RRB recruitment takes place at two levels- Officers in Group A: Scale-I (Assistant Manager), Scale-II (Manager), Scale-III (Senior Manager), and Office Assistants in Group B: Multipurpose Office Assistants. Candidates shall get all the information regarding IBPS RRB 2022 exams.

What is IBPS RRB Exam?

A government job aspirant must have heard of IBPS RRB exam. Each year, IBPS conducts a Common Recruitment Process for RRBs Group A and Group B officers. IBPS RRB 2022 Eligibility criteria

Students must be aware of their eligibility before they apply for the exam. The eligibility criteria have been defined by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The IBPS RRB 2022 eligibility criteria has been mentioned below

  1. Nationality – 
  • A candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan. 
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention to permanently settle in India
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention to permanently settle in India
  1. Age – The age criteria is defined for all three scale officers and assistant officers. The description of the limit has been given below

  1. Educational Qualification – The educational qualification is different for different posts of IBPS RRB 2022. The eligibility has been described below
Office AssistantsShould have a degree in any discipline. Should be proficient in the local language
Should have knowledge of Computer skills
Officer Scale ICandidate should have a degree in any discipline but a degree in Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy will be given a preference
Should be proficient in the local language
Should have knowledge of Computer skills
Officer Scale-II(General Banking Officer)Candidates should have a degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50%Candidates having a degree in Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Economics, Management, Law, and Accountancy will be given preference
Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers- IT)Candidate should have a Degree in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology with a minimum of 50%Candidates having a Certification in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, etc will be given preference.

IBPS Application Form 2022

The IBPS RRB Application Form will be out on the official website of IBPS. The candidates can fill the form online through the website. Candidates who have filled application forms shall only be allotted admit cards to be eligible to appear for the exam. Here are certain steps mentioned to fill and apply for the exam.

  1. Go to the official website of IBPS and click on the “New registration link”.. Enter the requisite details asked and successfully register your account. The provisional registration number and password shall be generated. 
  2. Fill the application form with basic details of the candidate. Educational qualification and work experience shall also be required to be filled
  3. Enter the preference of bank
  4. Upload necessary documents. Candidates need to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
  5. Check the details before the final submission of the form
  6. Make payment through online payment gateways such as using debit cards, credit cards, Internet banking, IMPS, cash cards
  7. An e-receipt shall be generated after successful payment

IBPS RRB Admit Card 2022

After the online applications are submitted, IBPS releases IBPS RRB admit card for the candidates. Admit card is a necessary document to carry along in the examination hall. Once admit cards are out, candidates are advised to download and take a hard copy of the same for the date of exam. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website of IBPS. It can be accessed by entering the registration number and date of birth of the candidate.

IBPS RRB Syllabus 2022

Applicants who have filled the application forms for the IBPS 2022 exams should be aware of the syllabus before they start their preparation for the exam. The IBPS RRB syllabus consists of the following sections

  • Computer Science

IBPS RRB Selection Procedure 2022

The selection of candidates for the IBPS RRB 2022 takes place in three stages namely preliminary, mains and interview round. 

Preliminary is an objective type exam consisting of 80 questions and 45 minutes to complete the exam. It consists of questions from Reasoning, numerical ability 

Candidates qualifying for the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the mains exam. The exam consists of 200 questions in different sections. It included aptitude, logical reasoning, general awareness, computer knowledge, and financial knowledge. Candidates are further shortlisted for the interview round based on the performance of the mains and preliminary exam.

The minimum mark to qualify for the interview round is 40%. The minimum marks have been reduced for the reserved category students at 35%. The performance of mains and preliminary is seen on an 80:20 ratio. After the interview round, combined scores are generated.

IBPS RRB Result 2022

The IBPS RRB results of the exam are declared on the official website. Candidates would be able to check the results after logging in with their credentials. The results of mains and preliminary are generated separately. The candidates can check the results after entering the roll number and password of the candidate.

FAQs

Q1: Can a candidate apply for multiple posts?


Ans : 
Candidates can apply for Office Assistant as well as for officers simultaneously. However, one can only apply for a single post in officer’s cadre, i.e, either Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.

Q2: Is there a common application fee if applying for multiple posts?

Ans : No, a separate fee has to be paid for each post.

Q3: Can a candidate change his/her category after submitting the application form?

Ans : No change of category is permitted after submission of the application form.

Q4. Does IBPS RRB 2022 exams have negative marking?

Ans. Yes, For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be reduced

Q.5 When is the interview round held for the IBPS RRB 2022?

Ans. The interview round shall be held after the exam conducted by IBPS RRB for 2022
