IBPS(Indian Banking Personnel Selection) conducts CWE(Common Written Examination) for the recruitment of the brilliant minds in the Rural Regional Banks. Rural regional banks operate at the local level in states on India. The primary purpose of the bank is to serve the rural areas of India with basic banking and financial services. IBPS conducts IBPS RRB Exam for the recruitment of candidates as PO, SO, Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager), Officer Scale-II (Manager), Officer Scale III (Senior Manager), Office Assistant (Multipurpose). For Officer Scale I & Officer Scale-II the recruitment will be done by the two phases of the examination i.e. Preliminary and Mains. But for Officer Scale-II (Manager) & Officer Scale III (Senior Manager), the recruitment will be done on the basis of the single Examination. In this article, the aspirants who are preparing for the IBPS RRB can get all relevant data for IBPS RRB Exam.

IBPS RRB Exam

The IBPS RRB SO Exam is conducted to recruit candidates for specialist officer positions such as IT Officer, Chartered Accountant, Law Officer, Agriculture Officer, Marketing Officer. Every year this examination takes place in the months of  September, October, & November. The recruitment process starts by releasing the application form and ends with the provisional allotment of the posts. So the recruitment dates for this year and last year are given here.

IBPS RRB Exam Eligibility

Eligibility criteria refer to conditions that candidates must fulfill in order to be considered for vacancies. IBPS RRB eligibility criteria contain age limit, educational qualification, work experience, and nationality. Educational Qualification

  • For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) the candidate must be the holder of Bachelor degree in any discipline.
  • For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager), the applicants must be the holder of the Bachelor degree in any discipline.
  • For Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager), the applicant should have Bachelor degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks.
  • For Information Technology Officer the candidate should have Bachelor degree in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology with 50% aggregate marks.
  • For Chartered Accountant the applicant should have Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
  • For Law Officer, the applicant should have Degree in Law with 50% aggregate marks.
  • For Treasury Manager the aspirant should be the holder of Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance.
  • For Marketing Officer should have completed MBA in Marketing.
  • For Agricultural Officer the candidates must have the Bachelor degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture with 50% aggregate marks.
  • For Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager) the application should be the holder of Bachelor degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks.

The work experience is also required in the relevant field for each post.

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern

The responsibility for the conduct of exams is taken by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Bank job aspirants appearing for IBPS RRB must note exam pattern and prepare for that pattern. It is important to note that exam pattern varies from post to post.

Negative marking – One-fourth of marks assigned to question is deducted for the wrong answer.
All questions are objective (multiple choice questions) in IBPS RRB CWE.

IBPS RRB Exam Cut Off

The purpose of multiple rounds of selection is to select a certain number of candidates in each round and test them further.
