Checked against official notices Β· updated 07 Oct 2026. Dates marked βExpectedβ are tentative until the conducting body announces them.
IBPS SO results are published as a PDF of shortlisted roll numbers, with individual scorecards following in the candidate login.
How to check your result
- Open the result link for this examination on the official website.
- Search the PDF for your roll number, or log in with your registration credentials.
- Download and save your scorecard β the link stays open only for a limited window.
Provisional allotment
Clearing the final stage does not by itself give you a bank. Candidates are placed on a merit list and allotted a participating bank by merit-cum-preference, and a wait list may be operated afterwards as candidates decline offers. A wait list call can arrive months after the main result.
Why you will not find a bank cut off table anywhere
Neither IBPS nor SBI publishes cut-off marks. The notification says only that cut-offs "will be decided" depending on the number of vacancies and the number of candidates. Scores are released to each candidate individually through a roll-number login, never as a category-wise table, and IBPS explicitly withholds Main Examination scores until the whole interview process is over.
Any site showing you a precise bank cut off is publishing an estimate reconstructed from candidate reports. That can be useful as a rough target, but it is not an official figure, and we will not present it as one.
What to aim at instead
- Clear every section β IBPS requires a minimum in each test, so a strong overall score with one weak section still fails.
- Work to the vacancy ratio: shortlists run at roughly ten times the vacancies in each category, so your position relative to other candidates matters more than an absolute mark.
- Track your state and category. Merit is drawn state-wise and category-wise, so the bar differs sharply between states in the same cycle.
