IBPS SO Admit Card 2026: SPL-XVI Mains Call Letter Out

The IBPS SO (CRP SPL-XVI) Main Examination call letter is out. The SPL-XVI Main call-letter login on ibpsreg.ibps.in is open from 22 October 2026 to 1 November 2026, and the Main Examination is on 1 November 2026. It is meant for candidates who cleared the Preliminary Examination, which the IBPS calendar set for 29 August 2026. Download it before the window closes; the login page says to download the call letter "before the closure date".

How do you download the IBPS SO Main call letter?

The login asks for "Registration No / Roll No" and "Password / DOB(DD-MM-YY)", plus the text from a captcha image. Under Clause P of the CRP SPL-XVI notification, call letters are downloaded only from the IBPS website, and no hard copy of the call letter or Information Handout is sent by post or courier. Candidates using a scribe must fill in the online scribe declaration form at scribe.ibps.in, the link IBPS posted on 22 October 2026 with the SPL-XVI scribe guidelines.

What is on the call letter, and what should you check?

The SPL-XVI call letter shows the centre, venue address, post applied for, date and time. Check the post carefully, because the Main paper differs by post. The reporting time printed on it comes before the test starts, and late comers are not allowed. Your name must exactly match the name on your photo ID. The Main Information Handout warns that any mismatch means you will not be allowed to appear, and asks women who changed their name after marriage to take special note. Queries and complaints go through cgrs.ibps.in.

Exam-day rules for the IBPS SO Main on 1 November 2026

• Documents: the Main call letter with your photograph pasted on it, the stamped Preliminary call letter, the stamped photocopy of your photo ID, and the original ID. The IBPS notice dated 22.10.2026 says all prescribed documents must be produced without exception. Ration Card and Learner's Driving License are not accepted.
• What you hand in: before leaving, submit the Preliminary and Main call letters, the photocopy of your ID, your rough sheets, and the scribe declaration if applicable. Write your Roll Number, Registration Number, name and exam date on every rough sheet.
• Duration: the Main runs 155 minutes: 125 minutes of objective tests followed immediately by a 30-minute descriptive test typed on the computer. The notification says to expect about 4 hours or more at the venue.
• Rajbhasha Adhikari: the descriptive paper is in English and Hindi. For Hindi typing, candidates should know the Inscript or Remington (GAIL) keyboard layout, and no spellcheck is available.
• Biometrics: your right thumb impression and photograph are captured at the Main venue, and refusing may lead to cancellation. The handout asks candidates and scribes to carry an Aadhaar Card for biometric authentication.
• Banned items (Point N): calculators, pen drives, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, health bands, goggles, handbags, belts, caps, any watch, any metallic item, and any food or water bottle.

Interview call letter

Candidates shortlisted from the Main are called for an interview conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by Nodal Banks, with IBPS's help. The interview call letter is downloaded from www.ibps.in and gives the centre, venue, date and time. Requests to change any of these are not entertained. The notification schedules interviews for November/ December, 2026.
