SBI PO Result 2026: Mains Result Out, Phase-III Next

The SBI PO 2026 Main exam result was declared on 14 October 2026 as a list of roll numbers shortlisted for Phase-III. SBI PO 2026 result, stage by stage

Phase-I: Preliminary result (28 August 2026)

The Preliminary result, dated 28 August 2026, is a PDF of roll numbers shortlisted for the Main, which it said would tentatively be held on 12 September 2026. There is no sectional cut-off in the Preliminary: about 10 times the vacancies in each category are shortlisted from a category-wise merit list of aggregate marks. Your Preliminary marks are on a separate login page that asks for your Roll Number or Registration Number and Date of Birth. These marks are not carried into the final merit list.

Phase-II: Main result (14 October 2026)

The Main result lists roll numbers shortlisted for the psychometric test. To get on it you needed a minimum score in each of the four objective tests and the descriptive paper, plus the minimum aggregate decided by the Bank; up to about 3 times the category-wise vacancies are called. The list is provisional and subject to your eligibility and the correctness of the information you gave at registration.

Phase-III: psychometric test, group exercise and interview

The psychometric test is held online in remote proctored mode on 31 October 2026, and only candidates who appear in it are allowed into the group exercise and personal interview. The group exercise carries 20 marks and the interview 30, and the minimum qualifying marks are decided by the Bank.

How the SBI PO final merit list is made

You must qualify in Phase-II and Phase-III separately. The Main (objective plus descriptive, 230 marks) is scaled to 75 and the group exercise and interview (50 marks) to 25, and the final merit list ranks candidates on that score out of 100. If more than one candidate has the cut-off marks, they are ranked by age in descending order. The provisional selection list is drawn from the top-ranked candidates in each category, and the final result is again a roll-number PDF; in previous cycles SBI added a "Letter to successful candidates" link with it, and in 2025-26 a page of marks secured in the Main and interview.
