Eligibility Criteria of Indian Army 130 TGC
The candidates will only be recruited if they will fulfill the eligibility criteria of Indian Army TGC 2020. The criteria are as below.
Nationality: The candidates should be a citizen of India.
- However, the candidates from Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East Africa, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Tibetian refugee may also apply.
- The candidates from the above nations must have the intention to permanently settle in India and must possess the certificate of eligibility, issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit: The applicant must fall within the age bracket of 20 to 27 years, as on July 01, 2020 (candidate should have been born between July 02, 1993 to Jan 01, 2000). Matriculation Certificate or equivalent certificate will be accepted as proof of birth.
Marital Status: Candidates must be an unmarried male.
Education Qualification: Candidates should have done an Engineering degree course.
- The candidates in final year may also apply. However, they need to produce proof of passing the engineering course by Jan 01, 2020.
- The applicants will also be required to submit the degree certificate within 12 days from the start of training at IMA.
Physical Standard to be Fulfilled: The following standards will be ensured during SSB but the candidates should know these in advance.
Height & Weight: The minimum limit for the height is 157.5 cms. However, the following is applicable:
- For candidates belonging to the North East and hilly areas like Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis, the height will be relaxed by 5 cms.
- candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2 cms
- The height has to be in correlation with the weight.
- Overall, candidates must be physical health and in good shape.

Indian Army 130 TGC Admit Card
The candidates who will be shortlisted for the SSB for those admit card will be issued. The admit card will be made available on the official website. It is mandatory for all the candidates to carry a hard copy of the admit card along with documents. The candidates who will not carry the call letter those will be not permitted for appearing the SSB interview.
Details of Sate Selection Board (SSB)
The SSB is consist of two stages i.e. stage 1 and stage 2. The duration of SSB interview is of 5 days. The candidates who will not qualify the stage 1 of SSB those will not be considered for the further process The SSB will be conducted in the below mentioned selection center. The candidates selected for SSB those have to choose the selection center within the given due time. The candidates who will choose the examination center on time for those admit card will be issued and will be sent by mail at the candidate’s registered id.
Selection Center: The selection centers are allocated in Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, Karnataka, Kapurthala where candidates are interviewed by the Psychologist, Group Testing Officer, and Interviewing Officer.

Details of Medical Examination
A candidate recommended by the Services Selection Board will undergo a medical examination by a Board of Service Medical officers. Only those candidates will be admitted to the academy who are declared fit by the Medical Board. The proceedings of the Medical Board are confidential and will not be divulged to anyone. However, candidates declared unfit by the Special Medical Board (SMB) will be intimated by the President of the Medical Board.
The procedure for request for Appeal Medical Board (AMB) will also be intimated to the candidates. Unfit candidates should report for AMB within a maximum period of 42 days from the date of SMB. Candidates declared unfit by AMB will be intimated by the President, AMB about the procedure to challenge the decision of AMB. Candidates must also note that Review Medical Board (RMB) will be granted at the discretion of DGAFMS based on the merits of the case and that RMB is NOT a right. Candidates will be considered medically fit only on receipt of the approved Medical documents from Directorate General Medical Services.
Selection Procedure for Indian Army 130 TGC
To select the applicants for SSB, the Indian Army determines a cutoff percentage. Engineering aspirants who surpass it are called at Selection Center and then for SSB interview round. The candidates who will clear the all stage for the SSB i.e. Stage 1 and Stage 2 those will be called for the medical examination. The candidates who will qualify the medical test those will be finally recruited for the applied post.

At first in form pdf result will be declared for the candidates who will be shortlisted for the SSB. Result be based on the percentage of the candidates obtained in the engineering. After the conduction of the SSB provisional result will be declared then after that final merit list will be declared which will be based on the overall performance of the candidates.
Training and Pay Scale Details of Indian Army 130 TGC
The appointed candidates will be given training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun according to their position. The duration of the training will be of 49 weeks. On successful completion of training, cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt.
