Application process of JPSC 2020
Applications for the JPSC 2020 Combined Competitive Civil Services Exam is conducted online. The applications can be submitted online through the website of the Commission. Candidates must note that applications forwarded through any other medium are summarily rejected by the Commission. How to apply
Submitting applications online for the JPSC 2020 Combined Competitive Civil Services Examination is a fairly simple. Just go to the website and click on the application link. For those who wish to apply for the JPSC 2020 exam, here is a detailed step by step guide to apply online.
Step #01
Open the website of the JPSC (jpsc.gov.in) using a compatible web browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Step #02
Simply click on the “Online Application” tab at the left side of the homepage. Refer to the illustration below.

Step #03
From the list of exams, select the JPSC Combined Competitive Civil Services Exam 2020 to go to the application page. The application link is activated as per schedule.

Step #04
Enter the details in the application form and pay the applicable fees.
Step #05
Click on “Submit” to submit the application.
Step #06
Re-login to the application portal to download and print the completed application form by clicking on the “Download Filled Application Section” in the dashboard.
Application Fee
JPSC 2020 application process must be completed by the payment of the application fee. The application fee is specified by the Commission for candidates belonging to reserved and unreserved categories. The details of the application fee can be checked from the table below.

Document required
Candidates are not required to submit any certificate of proof during the application process fo JPSC 2020 Combined Competitive Civil Services Exam. All applicants are however required to have the supporting documents for the information furnished in the application form. Such documents are required to be produced at subsequent stages of the selection for JPSC 2020 qualifiers. Candidates are required to upload the following specified documents during the application process.
- Scanned image of the applicant’s recent photograph
- Scanned image of the applicant’s signature
Important instructions for JPSC 2020 Application
Applicants, in general, must abide with all the terms and conditions of applying for the JPSC 2020 Combined Competitive Civil Services Exam. It is advised that candidates must read the advertisement carefully and ensure eligibility before applying. Consider the following important points during the application process.
- Only online applications submitted through the application link activated at the website of the Commission are accepted.
- Applicants are not required to send/upload any original certificate of proof with the online application form.
- Incomplete applications and applications submitted without payment of fees are to be summarily rejected.
- The applicants must ensure that the provided e-mail id and mobile number are active till the declaration of the final results of the JPSC Combined Competitive Civil Services Exam 2020.
- There are no provisions for form correction. Applications once submitted cannot be modified in any way.
- The applicants must select the subject preference for the Main exam at the application process itself. There are not provisions for a separate application process for the Main exam.
- All entries in the application form (except for the signature) must be in BLOCK LETTERS
- Date of Birth, father’s name should be as per matriculation certificate of the applicant.
- The application fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
JPSC 2020 Admit Card
Admit cards for the JPSC 2020 Combined Competitive Civil Services Exam is published by the Commission as per schedule. The date of publication of the admit card is to be announced soon. Admit cards are released a few days before the date of the exam. Candidates must visit the website, jpsc.gov.in, regularly to keep a check on when JPSC IAS admit card is released.
