LIC Assistant Syllabus 2019: Life Insurance Corporation of India conducts the exam for the LIC Assistant Post. The recruitment is done through 2 exams which are the preliminary exam and the main exam. The candidates who qualify the preliminary exam are only allowed to sit in the main exam. General / Financial Awareness: There is no topics defined for the awareness section. The candidate has to be updated with the day to day changes in to global and national environment. Computer Aptitude: This section will comprise of the knowledge of the candidate about the computer. The candidate must know short cut key words that are generally used in the computer and the normal terms that layman person using the computer must as well some terms related to the internet.
Hindi Language: This section is for the Northern zone, North Central zone, Central zone and Western zone only. Candidates who do not belong to this zone do not have this section in main exam. Hindi Language section will check the candidate’s knowledge and command over the Hindi Language. The section will include questions from reading commprehensions, grammar, omission and editing and vocabulary in general Hindi.

The exam will be of moderate to tough level. As the exam is for the graudates it will consist of aptitude questions as per the ability of the graduate. Read Newspaper Daily: There is a section of 50 marks for general and financial awareness where the awareness of the candidates will be measured. The candidates need to read newspaper daily. This will help you with the current affairs as well with the reading habit and reading comprehensions.
