Selection Process for MPSC PSI Recruitment
The selection of MPSC PSI recruitment is done based on 04 stages – prelims, mains, physical test and interview round. Candidates have to appear for all these rounds to be selected for the final selection for the post of a state tax inspector, Assistant Section Officer and Police Sub Inspector. - Candidates have to apply for a combined preliminary examination. The prelims exam is conducted for 100 marks. Those aspirants who are able to secure the qualifying marks are called for the next round which is mains exam.
- The mains round is conducted with two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper is common for all the poss. However, different posts have different Paper 2. The result for the mains exam is declared combining the marks secured in Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Hereafter, aspirants are invited for a physical standard test. In this round, candidates can fulfil the required physical requirement. Candidates must note that there is no PST round for Assistant Section Officer and state tax inspector.
- Qualifying the PST, candidates are invited for the interview/document verification round. Here, candidates are asked questions related to the post they applied for. There is no interview/document verification round for Assistant Section Officer and state tax inspector.
