The company will provide the pay scale of Rs. 24,900 – 50,500 (Under revision w.e.f. 01.01.2017). The candidates will also get the increment of 3% per year. Apart from the Basic Pay, the employee is entitled to allowance @ 47% of Basic Pay under Cafeteria Approach, Dearness Allowance, HRA/Company Accommodation, Mining Allowance, Contributory Provident Fund, Conveyance Maintenance, Substantial Performance Related Pay (PRP), Medical Facility for self and dependents, Gratuity, Post-Retirement Benefit Scheme and Composite Social Security Scheme as per Company rules.
Eligibility Criteria for ONGC Recruitment 2017 Through UGC NET
The candidates are required to be eligible as per the norms specified by the company for the concerned posts. The eligibility criteria for the each concerned post is as follows:
Age Limit – The candidate must have the following age limit as on January 1, 2017, for the concerned posts as given below:
For HR Executive and F&A Officer
The candidates must be 30 years of age. The age limit for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories is as mentioned below:
- OBC – 33 years
- SC/ST – 35 years
- Persons with Disabilities(PWD) – 40 years (further relaxed by 3 yrs for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST)
- Departmental Candidates – Age relaxation will be extended to departmental candidates to the extent of their service rendered in ONGC.
- Ex-Service men (General, OBC,SC,ST) – 35 years
For Official Language Officer
The candidates belonging to PWD category must be 40 years of age and Departmental Candidates (PWD) are given the age relaxation to the extent of their service rendered in ONGC.
For HR Executive – The candidates must have the MBA with specialisation in Personnel Management/ HRD/ HRM with 60% marks or Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management/ IR/ Labour Welfare with minimum 60% marks or minimum 2 years full-time Post Graduate Diploma in PM/ IR/ Labour Welfare with minimum 60% marks.
For F&A Officer – The candidates must the Post Graduate Degree in MBA with specialisation in Finance with 60% marks.
For Official Language Officer – The candidates must be a Post Graduate in Hindi with minimum 60% marks and must have English as a subject in Graduation. It is preferred for all categories to have experience in translation work.

How to Apply
The eligible candidates need to apply first for the recruitment process to the concerned posts. The application process consists in two stages i.e. Online registration for UGC NET November 2017 and Online application for the ONGC Recruitment 2017 along with the UGC-NET Registration/Roll number. The candidates have to go through the following procedure as mentioned below:
- Candidates are required to first submit their Online Application for UGC NET 2017 by following the prescribed procedure given in the information brochure for the examination.
- The detailed information is given on the official website of CBSE i.e. cbse.nic.in.
- Once the application process for UGC NET examination is completed then the candidates need to take a printout of the Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card. The candidates are required to keep these documents carefully as it will contain the UGC-NET Registration/Roll Number.

Declaration of Result
The result will be declared for the candidates who will appear for the various stages of the recruitment process. It will consist of the scores obtained by the candidates in all the stages of the selection process. The candidates will be selected on the basis of the scores obtained by them in UGC NET examination and performance in the Personal Interview. Along with the merit, the candidates need to fulfil the educational qualification specified by the company for the final selection.
