Pay Scale
The company provides the pay scale of Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000/-. In addition to the basic pay and the annual increase of 3%, the employee is employed is entitled to allowances @ 35% of basic pay under the Cafeteria Approach, Charity Allowance, Contributory Provident Fund, HRA/Company Accommodation.
Eligibility Criteria for ONGC Recruitment 2020 Through UGC NET

Age Limit – The candidate must have the following age limit as on July 31, 2020 for the concerned posts as given below:
The candidates must be 30 years of age. The age limit for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories is as mentioned below:
- OBC – 33 years
- SC/ST – 35 years
- Persons with Disabilities(PWD) – 40 years (further relaxed by 3 yrs for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST)
- Departmental Candidates – Age relaxation will be extended to departmental candidates to the extent of their service rendered in ONGC.
- Ex-Service men (General, OBC,SC,ST) – 35 years
Educational Qualification
For HR Executive – The candidates must have the MBA with specialisation in Personnel Management/ HRD/ HRM with 60% marks or Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management/ IR/ Labour Welfare with minimum 60% marks or minimum 2 years full-time Post Graduate Diploma in PM/ IR/ Labour Welfare with minimum 60% marks.
For F&A Officer – The candidates must the Post Graduate Degree in MBA with specialisation in Finance with 60% marks.
For Official Language Officer – The candidates must be a Post Graduate in Hindi with minimum 60% marks and must have English as a subject in Graduation. It is preferred for all categories to have experience in translation work.

Selection Process for ONGC Recruitment 2020 Through UGC NET
Firstly, the candidates are required to appear for the UGC NET June 2020 Examination but only after meeting the age and minimum eligibility criteria of ONGC. the candidates who will qualify the UGC NET Examination will be shortlisted for the further process. The final selection will be based on the scores obtained by the candidates in UGC NET 2020, Educational Qualification (Including additional inline higher qualification) and performance in the Personal Interview.
