RPF SI Cut Off

Last verified 01 Aug 2026

The RPF SI cut off is the minimum normalised score needed to be shortlisted for the next stage, and it is published zone-wise and category-wise by each RRB. Official cut off PDFs for previous cycles are linked on this page where available.

What moves the cut off

  • the number of vacancies notified in that zone
  • the number of candidates who applied and appeared there
  • the difficulty of the shifts, after normalisation
  • category-wise reservation

There is no single national cut off โ€” each RRB sets its own, which is why the same score can qualify in one zone and miss in another.

How to read the numbers

Published cut offs are normalised marks, not raw marks. Normalised scores can exceed the raw maximum, so compare against the normalised score on your scorecard.

Cut off is not the same as qualifying marks

You must clear both: the qualifying floor (UR and EWS 35%, SC and ST 30%) and your zone-and-category cut off. Reaching the qualifying percentage does not put you through if the zone cut off is higher.
