No RPF SI answer key is open as of 27 October 2026. The last one, for CEN RPF 01/2024, was live from 17 December 2024 (18:00 Hrs) to 22 December 2024 (24:00 Hrs). It covered the Sub-Inspector Computer Based Test (CBT) held from 2 to 13 December 2024. That recruitment ended with the final panel of 26 August 2025, and no new CEN has been issued, so the details below come from that cycle and show what to expect.

How the RPF SI answer key and objections worked

Under the RRB notice of 17 December 2024, a link on the RRB websites let candidates who appeared in the CBT view their question paper, their responses and the answer keys. In the same window they could object to questions, options or keys and pay the fee online.

  • Fee: Rs.50 plus applicable bank service charges per question.
  • Refund: if an objection is found correct, the fee is refunded after deducting bank charges, to the account you paid from.
  • Payment: debit cards, credit cards, UPI or net banking.
  • Procedure: the detailed steps were given inside the link on the RRB websites.
  • Deadline: nothing on questions, options or keys was entertained after 22 December 2024 at 24:00 Hrs. The RRBs' decision on objections is final and binding.

Do not post or share question content from your response sheet. In a notice of 25 November 2024, the RRBs warned that disclosing or transmitting test content in any form, including on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, is serious misconduct that leads to debarment.

How to calculate your RPF SI score

Under CEN RPF 01/2024 (SI), the CBT had 120 questions in 90 minutes at Graduation level: Arithmetic 35 marks, General Intelligence and Reasoning 35 marks and General Awareness 50 marks. Each correct answer earns 1 mark, each wrong answer costs 1/3 mark, and unattempted questions get nothing. Your raw score is therefore the number of correct answers minus one third of the number of wrong answers.

To be eligible you need at least 35% (UR, EWS and OBC-NCL) or 30% (SC and ST). Treat the raw score only as a first estimate, because the CEN provides for normalisation of marks when the CBT is held in multiple shifts. The RRBs' normalisation notice of 4 November 2024 converts each shift's raw marks to percentile scores on a scale of 100 to 0, calculated up to 5 decimal places. It also computes normalised marks, which decide whether you meet the minimum percentage. The SI shortlist cut-offs of 3 March 2025 were published as normalised marks scaled to 100, separately for male, female and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

What happened after the objection window

The CEN RPF 01/2024 notice board on the RRB website lists no separate final answer key. The CBT result of 3 March 2025 shortlisted 4,527 candidates for PET/PMT. Candidates could view their individual result and score card from 6 March 2025 by entering their Registration No. and Date of Birth on the RRB portal. On 7 March 2025 the board added a link titled "CBT- Scorecard & Objection- Tracker response".
