RPF SI Admit Card: CEN RPF 01/2024 Call Letters, PET Lucknow

There is no RPF SI admit card to download as of 27 October 2026, because no new Sub-Inspector recruitment has been notified. The last call letters were issued under CEN RPF 01/2024 (452 posts): the city intimation slip and e-call letter links were posted on 24 November 2024 for the Computer Based Test (CBT) in December 2024, and the PET/PMT/DV e-call letter link on 7 June 2025. That recruitment ended with the final panel of 26 August 2025.

Who will issue the next RPF SI admit card?

The recruitment rules were amended in October 2025. The Railway Protection Force (Amendment) Rules, 2025, dated 17 October 2025 and published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) on 21 October 2025 as G.S.R. 766(E), say that direct recruitment of Sub-Inspectors and Constables in the Executive Cadre shall follow the recruitment procedure of the Staff Selection Commission for the Central Armed Police Forces. As of 27 October 2026, the RRB notice board still lists only CEN RPF 01/2024 and RPF 02/2024 for RPF posts. Until a new notice appears, the details below describe the CEN RPF 01/2024 process and may not carry over unchanged.

How the CEN RPF 01/2024 CBT dates and call letters were released

The RRBs issued four schedule notices for the SI CBT. The notice of 7 October 2024 gave 2 to 5 December 2024. A revised notice of 24 October 2024 extended it to 2 to 12 December 2024. The notice of 1 November 2024 named four days: 2, 3, 9 and 12 December 2024. The final notice of 21 November 2024 added 13 December, so the CBT ran on 2, 3, 9, 12 and 13 December 2024.

• City and date intimation: the link to view the exam city and date, and for SC/ST candidates to download the Travel Authority, was to go live 10 days before the exam date on all RRB websites.
• E-call letter: downloads were to start 4 days before the exam date shown in the city intimation. No call letter was sent by post.
• No changes: the CEN says the centre, date and shift in the e-call letter are final.
• Travel pass number: a notice of 25 November 2024 told SC/ST candidates to add the prefix 99 to the 12-digit unique number on the free travel authority. A 14-digit number needed no prefix.

What to carry and what is banned at the RPF SI CBT

• The e-call letter with a valid original photo ID: Voter ID card, Aadhaar card, e-Aadhaar printout, driving licence, PAN card, passport, employer ID for government employees, or a school/college/university photo ID if still studying.
• Your original Aadhaar card, for Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication before entry to the exam hall. The RRBs also asked candidates to keep their Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system.
• A copy of the same colour passport photograph uploaded with the application. The CEN RPF 01/2024 (SI) asks for it at the CBT, PET/PMT, DV and medical examination.

The CEN bans mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, pen drives, laptops, calculators, smart watches, bangles, chains, bracelets, hearing aids, wallets/purses, belts, shoes, metallic wear and stationery such as pens and pencils. Cloak rooms may not be available. Violations lead to disqualification, legal action and debarment. Biometric details are recorded at every stage, and a mismatch can lead to disqualification.

RPF SI PET/PMT and DV call letter

The PET/PMT/DV notice of 3 June 2025 named a single venue, Jagjivan Ram RPF Academy, Lucknow, with tentative dates of 22 June to 2 July 2025 and a reporting time of 04:00 AM. The e-call letter was to be on the RRB website 02 weeks before each candidate's date. DV was to be held on the same day for those who qualified in PET/PMT, so candidates had to bring all original documents with two sets of self-attested photocopies.

The SI PET standards were: men 1600 metres in 6 min 30 secs, long jump 12 ft and high jump 3 ft 9 inch; women 800 metres in 4 min, long jump 9 ft and high jump 3 ft. The run allows one chance, and the jumps up to 2 chances each. Under CEN RPF 01/2024, the PMT height was 165 cm for UR/EWS/OBC men and 157 cm for women, and 160 cm and 152 cm for SC/ST men and women; ex-servicemen were exempt from PET but had to take PMT. Ex-servicemen are exempt from PET but must take PMT. A PMT grievance must be raised within three days of the test with the PCSC of that jurisdiction.
