Candidates can check the result by following the steps given below:
Step 1 – Candidates need to visit the official website of Rajya Sabha i.e. rajyasabha.nic.in.
Step 2 – Next, the candidates need to click on the Recruitment Cell section given on the home page of the website.
Step 3 – Now, the candidates will have to open the result section under the recruitment cell section.
Step 4 – The list of qualified candidates for various posts will be given under the result section.
Step 5 – Candidates need to search the list of the qualified candidates for the concerned post and click on the link.
Step 6 – Now, the candidates can check their result status with the help of their roll number.
Step 7 – Lastly, the candidates need to save it and take a printout for future reference.
Resolving Ties
In case, any tie appears in the marks obtained by the candidates in any of the stages of selection i.e. Preliminary/Written Examination/Skill Test at the time of shortlisting the qualified candidates for the last stage of the examination then all the candidates who will obtain equal marks will be placed last on the list of the shortlisted candidates.
However, if ties appear at the final stage of the recruitment process then those ties will be resolved by applying the following criteria:
- Candidates possessing desirable qualifications prescribed for the post.
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in the Preliminary Examination.
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in the Written Examination.
- Candidates older in age.
Cut Offs
After the declaration of the result, the cut-offs will be released by the department of Rajya Sabha on the basis of the maximum scores obtained by the candidates, the number of the qualified candidates and number of the candidates appeared in the examination. Post wise cut-offs will be uploaded for all the qualified candidates on the official website of Rajya Sabha i.e. http://www.rajyasabha.nic.in as per the scheduled dates. According to the availability of the number of vacancies, the candidates who will be eligible and have the maximum marks will be recruited for the concerned posts.
