RPF Constable CBT
The RPF Constable CBT is an objective examination. The Examination follows the 10th Grade/ Matric level pattern. Candidates can take the exam in any of the 15 available languages, English being the default language. Candidates get 1 mark for each correct answer and 1/3 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. The RPF Constable CBT contains 120 Questions and a time period of 90 Minutes is allowed to finish the CBT. The questions are asked from General Awareness, which is of 50 marks and from General Intelligence and Arithmetic, of 35 marks each. The qualifying percentage for the examination is 35%, while for the SC/ST students, it is 30%.
Calculation of marks under CBT- (Number of Right Answers) x 1- (Number of wrong answers) x 1/3
For eg., If a candidate attempts 100 questions and get 82 of them right then, 82 x 1 – 18 x 1/3 = 82-6= 76. Which means a candidate will be given 76 marks out of the 100.
