Steps to Check RRC Group D Mock Test

To access the link of the RRC Group D Mock Test, candidates can follow the steps listed below.

  • Visit the official website of the RRCs or click on the link given on this page.
  • A login window is going to appear on the screen. To proceed further, click on the “Sign In” button.

  • Now, read all the instruction given on the page and after that, click on the “Next” button.
  • Students can now access the RRC Group D Mock Test .

RRC Group D Exam Pattern

The RRC Group D Selection Process involves three stages. Check all the stages involved in the recruitment process in detail from below.

  • Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • Document Verification (DV)

Group D CBT

  • Number of Questions – In the Computer Based Test, there will be 100 objective type questions.
  • Duration of the Exam – Candidates are going to get 90 minutes for the exam. PwD category candidates will get 120 minutes (2 hours) for CBT exam.
  • Marking Scheme  – Each question is of 1 marks. For every incorrect answer, 1/3 marks are deducted from the total score.

Group D PET

Candidates obtaining the cut-off percentage in the CBT are eligible for the physical test. Candidates need to perform physical activities like running and weight lifting. The weight lifting is to be done in the time span of 2 Min and without putting the weight down. The candidates need to lift the sandbag around the waist and carry it till the end point. For both the tasks, candidates will get one chance.

Group D Document Verification

Students clearing the above two rounds successfully are going to undergo the document verification. For this round, candidates need to carry the original as well as two sets of self-attested photocopy of the documents. The documents can be produced in either Hindi or English. In case, the certificates is in some other language then, one must present the self-attested translated version of the same on the day of document verification.

  • NCVT (NTC / NAC) / SCVT Certificates
  • Caste Certificate (If applicable)
  • OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate
  • Income Certificate for Waiving Exam Fee.
  • Original Discharge Certificate.
  • Photocopy of Aadhaar Card (Both the Sides).
  • Medical Certificate (If applicable)
  • Self Declaration By Ex-serviceman
  • NOC from Serving Employees.
  • NOC from Serving Defence Personnel.
  • Minority Community Declaration on Non-judicial Stamp Paper. (If applicable)
  • Name Change Gazette Notification and / or Legal Documents.
  • Receipt of Payment.
  • Self Certification by Transgender Candidates.
  • J&K Domicile Certificate (If applicable)
  • Decree of Divorce / Judicial Separation from Court of Law.
  • Spouse’s Death Certificate (In Case of Widow).
  • Ex-Servicemen candidates who secure civil employment after applying for this CEN should give self-declaration to the concerned employer about the details of application against this CEN, as soon as they join.

Significance of RRC Group D Mock Test

The RRC Group D first stage is a computer-based test. So, it is crucial for the candidates to know how the exam is held in online mode. The official link of the RRC Group D Mock Test gets active on the official websites of the RRB and RRCs. With it, candidates get to know the process of how to take the test in online mode.

Students who are not familiar with the computer-based test can get familiarity. It acts as a practice before the final paper. They can get clarity of the conduction of the exam in the online mode. It also helps the candidates in time management.

RRC Group D Admit Card

The admit card is available in online mode at the zonal websites of the RRB and RRC over login for which the candidates need to enter user id and password. The RRC Group D Admit Card is not sent to the students via post or courier. For the exam, candidates need to carry the hardcopy of the admit card along with passport size photograph and identity proof. The identity proof can be aadhaar card, PAN card, voter id, driving license, passport, etc.

Candidates cannot enter the exam premises without valid documents. So, make sure that the candidates ring the same on the day of the examination. The admit card comprises of important details related to the exam so, candidates should keep it carefully till the time recruitment process gets over completely.

About RRC Group D

RRC Group D recruitment is open for 103769 vacancies. The shortlisting of the candidates takes place on the basis of three stages, CBT, PET and Document Verification. The Level – 1 recruitment process is carried out by the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) instead of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). Candidates clearing all the three stages need to pass the medical exam conducted by the railway administration. Only those candidates are eligible for the final appointment who clears all the three stages along with the medical test at the railway hospitals. The medical exam checks that the candidate is eligible to carry out the duties for the post or not.
