RRC Group D Syllabus – The selection of the candidates for the posts involved in the RRC Group D recruitment is done on the basis of three stages Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and Document Verification. The selection criteria are same for each post. It is important for the aspirants to be aware of the syllabus to ace the exam. In the CBT exam of RRC Group D , the question will be pertaining to Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness and Current Affairs. RRC Group D Syllabus

Interested candidates who are willing to take part in the recruitment process, must know that the number of vacancies released by the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) for Level -1 posts is 103769. The final appointment of the candidates is based on the medical exam which will be conducted at the Railway Hospitals.

Aspirants must know the exam pattern and syllabus so that they can start their preparation. Check the table given below to know the examination scheme of the CBT exam.

RRC Group D Syllabus for CBT

  • Analytical Reasoning

General Awareness: The questions related to current affairs and general knowledge are asked in this section. Students who keep their general awareness up to date can score good int hsi section. The questions will be pertaining to:

  • Science & Technology
  • Sports
  • Culture
  • Personalities
  • Economics
  • Politics and any other subject of importance.

General Science: Questions in this section are pertaining to the CBSE class 10th. The questions are going to be asked from the topics given below.

  • Physics,
  • Chemistry and
  • Life Sciences

RRC Group D Cut Off for CBT Exam

To be eligible for the next round which is the physical test, candidates need to secure the cut off marks. The cut-off marks are different for each category. Refer to the table below to know the qualifying marks for CBT exam category wise

RRC Group D Tips To Study

Candidates can follow the strategies listed below to ace the examination. The points given below are definitely going to be a helping hand for the aspirants who are willing to be a part of RRC Group D Recruitment .

Make a Routine

First and foremost part of the starting with the reparation of the exam is to make a schedule of what all to study in a day. By planning, the time will not be wasted. And you would be able to ace the exam easily. Make sure that the scheduled is followed.

Know Important Topics and Subjects

Students should know the important topics from which questions can be asked in the exam. Try and solve more of the mock test and previous year question paper to have an idea about the important topics for the exam.

Stay Aware

In the CBT exam, the questions are also going to be asked from the section of general awareness. So, one should watch the news daily and is possible to make notes of it so that it can be revised daily. By using this method, you can definitely score good marks in the General awareness section.

Take Breaks

As the exam is around the corner, you should take shorter breaks and focus more on the topics in which you are weak. Breaks are very important but it should be “only breaks”. While on a break, walk around, take a phone call, talk to family or watch your favorite series.

Time Management

Be systematic and manage the time in such a way that it results in maximum utilization. Stay focussed. Devote more time to the subject in which you lack. Try and do Mathematics in the morning when the mind is fresh. As there are chances of getting tired after solving calculative and mathematical questions.

Eat a Balanced Diet

make sure you eat light as you can feel sleepy after eating heavy food. Eat nutritious food like fruits, nuts which gives you optimum energy yet keeps you light.

Do not forget to have lots of water and keep yourself hydrated, All day long!
