SEBI Grade A Syllabus 2022 – Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) conducts SEBI Grade A exam every year for recruitment to different branches of SEBI for the post of Assistant manager. This is a nationwide exam and conducted in three phases- Phase-1, Phase-2 and Interview. The SEBI Grade A syllabus for the online exam is notified by SEBI for different streams at the official website, sebi.gov.in. SEBI Grade A Syllabus 2022

SEBI Grade A Officers syllabus is different for different streams. The exam is conducted in two phases- Phase-1 and Phase-2. Syllabus for Paper-I

The paper on English shall be presented in such a way as to test the writing skills including the subject’s language and comprehension, including detailed writing / essay writing / comprehension.

e) Motivation, Morale and Incentives: Theories of Motivation; How Managers Motivate; Concept of Morale; Factors determining morale; Role of Incentives in Building up Morale.

f) Communication: Steps in the Communication Process; Communication Channels; Oral versus Written Communication; Verbal versus non-verbal Communication; upward, downward and lateral communication; Barriers to Communication, Role of Information Technology.

1) Financial System

a) Role and Functions of Regulatory bodies in the Financial Sector.

a) Primary and Secondary Markets (Forex, Money, Bond, Equity, etc.), functions, instruments, recent

developments.

a) Basics of Derivatives: Forward, Futures and Swap

b) Recent Developments in the Financial Sector

c) Financial Inclusion- use of technology

d) Alternate source of finance, private and social cost-benefit, Public-Private Partnership

Responsibility and Budget Management Act (FRBM),

About SEBI Grade A

SEBI Grade A exam is conducted by Securities and Exchange Board of India(SEBI) for recruitment of eligible candidates to the post of Assistant manager in different branches of SEBI. The exam is conducted in two phases followed by an interview. The exam is conducted on a nationwide scale annually. Candidates with a graduation degree in relevant stream and age upto 30 Years(relaxation for reserved category) can apply for the exam. Candidates need to select the stream they are applying for. After clearing phase-1 candidates are qualified for phase-2. Phase-2 score is used for shortlisting for an interview. Final merit list is released based on the combined score of phase-2 and interview.
