Eligibility Criteria

Advt. No. 31/Estt./HCS
Assistant Registrar Candidates should possess LL.B. degree from a recognized University.
Reader Candidates should possess LL.B. degree from a recognized University.
Private Secretary Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream of a recognized university with proficiency in shorthand (English) with a speed of 100 w.p.m. and knowledge of Computer Application with typing speed of 40 w.p.m. on computer.

Librarian Candidates should be graduates in any stream with diploma or degree in Library Science from any recognized Board or University
Stenographer
Grade-II
Candidates should be a graduate in any stream from a
recognized University possessing certificate in Computer Application from any Computer Centre and having a minimum speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typing.
Stenographer
Grade-III
By direct recruitment from amongst Class XII candidates from a recognized Board possessing certificate in Computer from any Computer Centre and having a minimum speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typing
Accounts Clerk cum-Typist Class XII passed certificate from any recognized Board with Diploma in Computer and having knowledge in Financial Accounting from any Computer Centre.
DEO-cum-Clerk Class XII passed with Diploma in Computer from any Computer Centre.
Record Keeper Candidates possessing educational qualification of Class X with knowledge of typing with a speed of 30 w.p.m. and Computer Operation.

Exam Pattern

For Assistant Registrar & Reader

Written Examination

  • Paper-I (150 marks, Duration: 3 hrs)
  • Paper-II (100 marks, Duration:2hrs)

For Private Secretary

Written Examination

  • Paper-I (100 marks, Duration:2 hrs)
  • Paper-II (50 marks, Duration: 1hr)

Practical Examination

  • Shorthand & Transcription (Duration:10 + 30 = 40 minutes)
  • Typing (Duration: 10 mins)

For Librarian 

  • Written Examination (150 marks,Duration:3 hrs)
  • Practical Examination (50 marks, Duration:1hr)

For Stenographer Grade-II

Written Examination

  • Paper-I (100 marks, Duration:2 hrs)
  • Paper-II (50 marks, Duration: 1 hr)

Practical Examination

  • Shorthand & Transcription (Duration: 10 + 25 = 35 mins)
  • Typing (Duration: 10 minutes)

For Record Keeper

  • Written Examination (100 marks, Duration : 2 hrs)
  • Practical (50 marks, Duration : 1 hr)

Selection Process

For Advt No. 31/Estt./HCS

For the posts of Assistant Registrat and Reader, examination will be held in two phases:-

  1. Written Examination and
  2. Viva-Voce.

Candidates who qualify in the written examination by securing an aggregate of 40% marks will be selected and called for vivavoce. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written as well as in viva-voce.

For the post of Private Secretary, examination will be held in three phases:-

  1. Written Examination,
  2. Practical Examination (Shorthand, Typing and Computer Application)
  3. Viva-Voce.

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be selected and called for Practical Examination (Shorthand, Typing and Computer Application) as the case may be and the candidates who qualify both in (1) and (2) will be called for vivavoce. Final selection will be made on the basis of combined marks secured by the candidates in (1), (2) and (3) above.

For Advt No. 32/Estt./HCS

Selection for the above posts will be done on the bases of following rounds

  1. Written Examination,
  2. Practical Examination (Shorthand, Typing and Computer Application)
  3. Viva-Voce.

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be selected and called for Practical Examination (Shorthand, Typing and Computer Application) as the case may be and the candidates who qualify both in (1) and (2) will be called for viva voice. Final selection will be made on the basis of combined marks secured by the candidates in (1), (2) and (3) above.
