Assam TET Result

The Special Assam TET 2026 result is published on the official portals — sebaonline.org, ssa.assam.gov.in and scert.assam.gov.in — after the examination. The result date is announced by separate notification.

Qualifying marks

A candidate qualifies on scoring 60% overall (90 of 150) and 60% in the Language-1 section (18 of 30). For SC / ST(Hills) / ST(Plain) / OBC / MOBC / PWD(PH) the bars are relaxed to 55% overall (83 of 150) and 50% in Language-1 (15 of 30).

Certificate and validity

The Special Assam TET 2026 qualifying certificate is issued by the Empowered Committee, TET, Government of Assam, and — unless otherwise notified — remains valid for life from the date of issue.

Qualifying is not appointment

Qualifying does not confer a right to appointment. The certificate lets a candidate take part in teacher recruitment for government and provincialised elementary schools in Assam; documents are verified at the recruitment stage, and a false claim of qualification carries criminal liability.
