MAHA TET Answer Key 2026: Status, 2025 Final Key & Objections

There is no MAHA TET 2026 answer key, because the 28 June 2026 exam was postponed and no new date has been announced as of 27 October 2026. The latest key is for the 23 November 2025 exam. MSCE published the interim key on 19 December 2025, took objections until 27 December 2025 and released the final answer key on 12 January 2026.

How did the MAHA TET objection process work last time?

MSCE's final-key notice for MAHATET 2025 sets out what happened:

• Interim key: published on 19 December 2025 for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
• Objections: a press note the same day asked candidates who found an error in any question or answer option to tell the council by 27 December 2025.
• Review: subject experts examined the written objections received within the deadline, and their opinion decided the final key.
• Final key: published on 12 January 2026. MSCE said it would not accept any objection to the final key.

The notices do not state a fee for objections. For the 2026 exam, objections should follow whatever notice MSCE issues with the interim key.

How do you work out your MAHA TET score?

• Pattern: the syllabus sets Paper I at 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks in 2 hours 30 minutes. It has five compulsory sections of 30 questions and 30 marks each: child development and pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, mathematics and environmental studies.
• Keep your copy: the June 2026 instructions tell candidates to hand in the original OMR sheet and keep its carbon (third) copy. Check that copy against the key.
• Booklet code: you must record your question-booklet code (A, B, C or D) on the OMR sheet, so check that the key you read is for the same code.
• Answers that score zero: improperly filled answers, half-filled circles, overwriting, two circles for one question, and answers erased with an eraser, blade or whitener are not checked or given marks.
• One right option: every question has exactly one correct option, and a darkened option cannot be changed.
• Pass mark: 60 per cent, or 55 per cent for SC, ST, VJ/NT, SBC, OBC and disabled candidates, under the Government Resolution of 23 August 2013.

What happens after the final key?

For MAHATET 2025, MSCE released the interim result in candidate logins on mahatet.in from 6.00 p.m. on 16 January 2026. Objections to the interim result were taken only online through the login, from 16 to 21 January 2026 until 6.00 p.m. Applications sent any other way were not considered. The 2025 final key says the result is prepared from that final key.
